So, if I am understanding this...

There is some kind of insipid drama regarding every single aspect of Zelinski's attempt to posture as a "big" player.

This may only be an appearance of course... since we cannot logically place any kind of confidence in "activist" journalism... which fits the pattern of 'media influence' in public understanding.

There is also some manner of overall anti-Trump sentiment... oh how we love to hate that particular orange man (It's one way to very nearly guarantee some agreement...)

Again, this may ALSO be an appearance fostered by media influence....

In the end, "activist journalism" only serves to diminish the primary function of reporting.

We bang our heads against the wall trying to understand how people change their knowledge 'filters' to accommodate the harmonious flow of someone else's "good think." (queue patriotic music and memery herein.)

Their government is still corrupt.
Their war is unending and costing us billions.
They are running out of soldiers and need everyone elses to continue.
AND ... their leader Zelenskyy screwed up.   That's the truth of it.
Those people suffering because Russia invaded and Putin sucks doesn't change any of that.

I don't like Trump.  He's a bloviating grifter.
But that doesn't change the fact that what happened yesterday was Zelenskyys fault.
HE was the one who was rude.
HE was the one who made an agreement then tried to change it in the middle of the press.
HE was the one who insulted the Vice President.

If EUROPE and UK want to continue throwing billions at Ukraine ... go right ahead.
If EUROPE and UK want to send their troops because Ukraine is out ... go right ahead.

WE ARE DONE.
Russia sucks.  Putin sucks.  But they won.

Engaging in negotiations, coming to an agreement, then sitting in front of the world press and breaking that agreement while insulting the Vice President whom you just made the agreement with ..... that is RUDE.   Trump calling Zellensky out on him breaking the agreement and insulting the Vice President isn't 'rude'.

But in this case, he is right.  
And Zellenskyy was rude and was the amature trying to pull a fast one.

Yeah, I disagree, I appreciate their passion, IP knows their stuff, even if we think differently on some points on the Oval Office meeting. 

The main point it didn't help the situation and in reality likely helped Putin. Again he didn't like the minerals deal because it would have interjected American interests directly in the sliver of land he is trying to pound into the mud.

Why thank you. But they are right about the whole "in love with my neurosis" thing, at least to the degree it serves rhetorical use in a thread. Like going back 8 pages to find the last time your comment was thread relevant. I do project a deep love of whatever myself is.

And maybe not you personally, but I remember 4 solid years of quotes and fearful pleas along the lines of:
