Be 100 honest with Him up front.

No confusion from that point on.

And don't hate a man for trying until you know he is a boy trying too hard.

I think she should now cosplay herself into the Detective role (bad cop interviewer, not good cop interviewer) and interrog...I mean interview him mercilessly without reading him his rights.

Not sure this will help or not:

As with automated license plate readers, there too you could claim that your privacy rights were violated.

He did not have my address. I know he can get my address from my car tag because he's in law enforcement and I am not sure what to do about it. My neighbor called me because she is checking up on my house while I'm not there and said "there is a bag hanging from your porch." I told her to open it and it is something personal and kind of expensive which I don't want and makes me feel awkward why do these people do such weird things why can't people be normal!

I DON'T WANT TO BE THAT PERSON! but I kind of want to turn him in for creeping on me. Because when I called to ask him wtf he just asked if I read the note and said most girls would love something like that?!?!?! And asked me because my friend posted a bunch of pics from our road trip like trying to interrogate me about why I didn't tell him I was going out of town and all this.  And I am like......we literally went out for coffee twice and one dinner............. hung up on him because I dont know what to do. Blocked right now but I just don't know.

Would you guys turn him in?! My friends are dying they think it's so sweet so theyre legit roasting me for being like ewwwwwww. But they have no perspective because we are all single cat ladies.

Is it even legal for law enforcement to use their tools to find someone's address?!

In your shoes, I would not dob him in. I would begin the process of ending the relationship. After only 3 dates, everything you have said shouts loud and clear red flags. I bet he has abused his position to track you and knew only too well you were out of town. I see the gift as a message that wherever you are, what ever you are doing, he will assert his presence and do so in such a way as to make  it hard for you to object without coming off as a complete bitch who does not understand how much he cares.

He does not care, he has impinged on your privacy and your absolute right to full agency. I think that once he feels he has full control, you will see other sides to his character and regret not taking action to end the relationship sooner.

Just the fact that he abused his cop power is creepy. He is playing good cop bad cop. He is cool with you turning off your phone and letting you be. He is already asking you why you did not tell him you were going out of town.

I would get a the ring doorbell. I can see and hear who is at my front door from my phone.

If you really don’t want him back, set up the WIFI sprinkler aimed at your door. Use the ding dong doorbells AI face lookup tool. Once it sees him it alerts your sprinkler to turn on blasting water at him.

I am not defending this guy but have you tried Googling your name or used one of those people finder websites? You wouldn't believe how much of your information is public and everywhere.

This is true. While on a walk, one of my family members found someone's debit card on the side of the road. With just their name, it took me 5 minutes searching property records and professional directories to find their address and parent's cell phone number. We texted them and got the card back to their daughter, so all is well, but it does highlight that much more information is publicly available than people think.

@AnAlternateOpinion

I agree the addresses are all over google. The issue I have is he showed up at her house. What if she was married and having an affair. I am just using that for example.

I think if she wanted him to have her address she would have given it to him.

Just my thoughts.

Another thing with meeting people and dating them from dating sites is that everyone is expected to do a background check on each other these days, as per Tik Tok dating horror stories.

lol, I went on a date last year. I felt like after the date I needed to find her medical record not just her background.

She was telling me how she is the devil if she forgets to take her meds and how her eyes turn red.

I told her I had to go check my teeth in the bathroom and I ran out the door.

You never know. This cop has a red flag already! I say he is a stalker.
