Terribly Rotten Parents/People
#1
I can only say this is more than sad and surpasses evil IMO. Do not watch if easily upset by cruelty to kids.

For those of us who grew up in a loving caring family we should never forget there are those who are not nearly as fortunate.

I couldnt get very far into that. Sick people need help

If that's a video of kids being neglected or mistreated, I'm not watching. That would just piss me off for the rest of the day.

I had an Aunt and Uncle who would go off for 2 - 3 days at a time and leave their 3 boys at home. They were 5, 7 and 9. They had other relatives that lived next door and their philosophy was "If they get hungry, they'll go over there". They wouldn't even tell anyone they were leaving, they'd just go.... and the other relatives never called them out on it. They'd just feed the kids, make sure they had a bath and take care of them while the parents were gone and when they came back, just act like nothing was wrong.

That's one of many reasons I don't have contact with that side of the family.

I can't watch it
my views on people who intentionally harm children and animals is really quite barbaric.

And I am unapologetic.

Yeah, I feel that. Despite all my peacenik leanings. Hard to condemn the anger. "Where to buy millstone".

I could never watch something like that.

It would haunt me and I'd probably cry.

Me too.  Sad

Sometimes I am too curious for my own good.

No shame in not watching the video.  It is visceral and well beyond uncomfortable.  Sometimes I think someone needs to be a witness.   I am a Witness, a watcher.  Always have been.  I feel a need right now to walk into the sea.

I am never surprised, but often horrified at the lows to which human beings will stoop, especially with their children and elderly.  I can't help feeling that there are too many of us, too close together, not enough resources for people to live fully without being afraid.

If you've never heard of theGeorgia Guidestones, you might be intrigued.    I think they exemplified much of what humanity will have to embrace, should we decide to live instead of destroying ourselves, and our brief bookmark in history.

When I was a young lawyer, I did matrimonial cases involving child abuse.  Not defending the pervs.

It scarred me for life.

I vowed never to do that again.

I have prosecuted many animal welfare cases.  Those people were scum.

But nothing to compare to that.
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope.  Nothing...
