LoL

Those are TPTB, at least that first one, Orby.

As to the whole affair being "Biblical."

That's what's called a self-fulfilling prophecy, so...

And the problem with those, well, they are manifold.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

This current SMO is brilliant compared, on another level. Iran is carefully being dismantled, for the loss of a handful of people. Absolutely brilliant. It took millions of casualties to do similar in the past. This is just brilliant.

Sir, Mr. guy Orby I like you and find your thought process to be somewhat endearing but I fear as though your selective memory of history has at times add to possible miscounts of actual history.
I am not going to dispute this matter because frankly there have been so many wars in just my lifetime it is hard to remember all of them seeing as most happen in countries I can not name.
But I do know that I along with everyone else not actively deployed in the theater that we have no idea what is going on or how much Iran has been or not been neutralized militarily.
I along with you and others can easily tell the volume of projectiles has dramatically decreased. But again that is just what we are allowed to know.

I also want to point out that civs more specifically children have been I hope unintended targets, I would not use the word "brilliant" to describe the situation.
Operation Iraqi Freedom was "brilliant" compared to this shit sandwich.
$100 dollars a barrel now.  Is this "winning"?

Don't be so silly.

We are free to criticize our leaders without fear of getting shot or hanged.

If you don't like that, tough.

Deal with it.

I thought we’ve already won multiple times.

Trump said we obliterated their nuclear program last summer, completely destroyed their military, took out most of their drones and missiles, proclaimed the strait is open dozens of times.

Yet here we are. No one knows what the actual objective is. Is it nuclear? I thought that was solved. Is it regime change? Thought we said it wasn’t for that.

We've seen their kind waving Palestinian flags for several years now, no reason not to believe they are doing it for Iran as well.

I don't have a Palestinian flag nor would I wave one.

I do have a Ukrainian flag.

There are quite a few around here.

No Iranian ones.

Keep on crying, moaning and insulting anyone who doesn't share your extreme fascist views.

It's quite amusing.

And now the Houthis have attacked two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

And Iran is threatening RAF Fairford, difficult to see how they might manage that, mind you.

Can't see how this colossal disaster of a War is going to get any better.

Not for me or you, but definitely petroleum companies.

"Winning" is for AMACO, ExxonMobil, BP, and Shell.
Quote: The world's top 100 oil and gas firms made $30 million every hour in excess profits during the early days of the U.S-Israeli war with Iran. That's according to an analysis by the environmental nonprofit Global Witness and the Guardian.

"That's as a direct result of oil prices spiking globally," says Dominic Eagleton, who researches fossil fuels at Global Witness.

Yet for many oil companies the cost of actually producing oil hasn't changed that much since the beginning of the war, according to the American Petroleum Institute, a trade organization for the U.S. oil and gas industry. This has led to windfall oil profits — unexpected profits as a result of the war.

Global Witness found that the top six European oil companies have made at least $22 billion dollars in the first quarter of 2026. That's 43% higher than their profits in the first quarter of 2025, the nonprofit tells NPR.

Everyone's going to the party... again.

it's a big beautiful war..

How?

MANPADS, "shoulder-launched" guided missiles, smuggled into the UK, most likely via container cargo ports.

When you have the resources of a state-backed government, made savy to various smuggling techniques and contacts as a result of years operating under the weight of international sanctions, it becomes relatively easy to smuggle virtually anything into virtually anywhere.
