I’m really not getting much of any real information…

Oh really.

Yeah I do believe that is something the MSM would report.

Ahem.

It was the BBC where I read that.

Meh, not being a US citizen, but Canadian, I’m not bombarded with US MSM news.

Doesn’t mean that I get any more or less coverage.

I'm sorry I missed this thread... I wanted to note...

this entry in the posted article
Quote:"️ The latter tactics appear to be working. The Arab League has already urged all parties to “work towards de-escalation” and “spare the region the scourge of instability and violence.” Meanwhile, ordinary people in some Gulf nations, like Bahrain, are [url=https://t.me/geopolitics_prime/65595]openly celebrating Iran’s retaliation."

(Referring to "night time strikes") This seems an awfully kind light cast upon their inability to operate in daylight.

FWIW

Quote: significant conflicting claims and skepticism are suggesting it may have been an Iranian mistake (e.g., a misfired or errant Iranian missile/defense system during the chaos of incoming strikes and Iranian counter-launches):
• Multiple social media reports, anti-regime Iranian sources, and some Western commentary (e.g., on Facebook, X/Twitter, Reddit, and outlets like Middle East Forum) claim it was an Iranian missile malfunction or misfire, not a U.S./Israeli strike. Some allege the school was built adjacent to or within an IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) base/barracks (possibly for IRGC families/children), making it a collateral risk from Iranian air defenses or a defensive launch gone wrong.
• The Israeli military (IDF) has stated it is "not aware" of strikes in that area or on the school specifically, and is checking reports.
• U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it is "aware of reports concerning civilian harm" and is investigating, emphasizing precautions to minimize unintended harm, but has not confirmed responsibility.
• Independent analyses (e.g., some OSINT videos on CNN, Wikipedia entry on the "2026 Minab school airstrike") note the school's proximity to an IRGC/naval facility, raising questions about targeting intent vs. error.

• Deep distrust of the Iranian regime (due to past propaganda, human shield allegations, and internal repression) leads many Iranians and exiles to blame the regime itself—either for placing military assets near civilians/schools or for a friendly-fire incident—rather than accepting official narratives.
No definitive, independent confirmation has emerged yet (as of early March 2026) due to the ongoing conflict, restricted access, internet disruptions in Iran, and fog of war. Official U.S./Israeli investigations are pending, but early indications lean toward it being either:
• A precision strike gone wrong (if U.S./Israeli, due to proximity to military target), or
• An Iranian error (misfire during defensive operations or chaos).
Many analysts and critics argue it's more likely an Iranian mistake given the denials from U.S./Israel, the site's military adjacency, and patterns in similar past incidents (e.g., errant missiles in regional conflicts). Iranian officials strongly reject this and use it for propaganda to rally domestic/international outrage.
The truth may take time to emerge through further OSINT, leaks, or post-conflict inquiries. For now, it's disputed, not conclusively proven as either deliberate or accidental.

So Iran's reports carry the same weight as Western sources...so no, I don't get it

Below could be complete BS too, however, even Fox and Trump are more reliable than Iran on most briefings

I think it's more accurately termed propaganda.  It contains elements of factual information but is slanted to produce a desired emotional reaction in the reader.

There are two main propaganda outlets in Russia, Pravda and Izvestia.  "Pravda" translates as "Truth", and "Izvestia" translates as "News".  The standing joke in the old Soviet Union was, "There's no news in Pravda and no truth in Izvestia".

The news is that a few missiles actually hit US bases.
Dressed up as if Iran had some "new" missile strategy.
