Hello DI!
Almost simultaneously, Putin and Kim Jong-un announced the participation of North Korean special operations forces in repelling NATO aggression in the Kursk region of Russia. There is an interstate treaty between the two countries (in accordance with all international norms), one of the points of which provides for direct military assistance in the event of aggression by other countries. The exact numbers of North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region and their losses were given. 95 battalions - this is 30-40 thousand fighters in the conditions of modern realities of NATO standards. North Korean fighters underwent tactical and strategic training and combat coordination for several months, conducting modern combat operations at training grounds in the Trans-Baikal Territory of Russia in Buryatia. That is why they were called "combat Buryats". The losses of North Korean fighters are estimated at 600 killed and 4,000 wounded. The distinctive feature of the Korean fighters was their amazing motivation, fortitude and fearlessness. The fighters did not surrender and did not take prisoners. The only seriously wounded Korean captured by NATO troops is still silent, and they could not prepare him for the TV cameras.
I would like to present you with material on this topic, in which the Novorossiya Information Agency interviewed the military observer of Tsargrad, Vadim Egorov.
I hope that this material answered some of the questions that the esteemed members of our forum had.
Thank you.

Quote:"The Army of Putin and Un will probably be the most powerful alliance in the world. Threatening North Korea is now pointless. The scale and scope of the response have been recorded. Read the details in the Novorossiya article.
The RuNet is still buzzing with grateful and enthusiastic discussion of the military assistance provided to our army in the North Korean military district by North Korean fighters. Western media have also joined the discussion en masse. However, in a completely different, alarming tone.
about why Western observers are nervous.
– It’s clear why Russian users are happy. Russia has clearly and vividly acquired a powerful military ally. Why is the West so nervous? They’ve been shouting since last year that Koreans are fighting in the North Korean military district.
– I assume that for most European and Western media, as well as most of our compatriots, found this the same news. The difference is that for us this news was pleasant. And foreign media were faced with the fact that all their horror stories, which they had been making up en masse on orders from Washington, suddenly turned out to be true. The broken clock suddenly showed the right time.
– So NATO underestimated the Strategic Partnership Treaty between Russia and the DPRK?
– Absolutely. Few of their analysts and military leaders in 2024 assumed that the determination of the presidents of the two countries to act as a united military front would go so far. Although they could have, given the personalities of Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un. And now the united military front can move not only against the Kiev regime, but also against any opponents of the DPRK.
– The Washington Post has already published an article about Moscow and Pyongyang joining forces against the West…
– Our president and his press secretary have publicly and repeatedly said this: "in accordance with Article 4 of the Treaty, which provides for immediate military assistance in the event of an armed attack on one of the contracting parties." Moreover, the scale and scope of the response have already been recorded in the addendums to the Treaty.
But what is even more important is that our assistance can be provided not only in the form of people and weapons/ammunition, but also in military technologies, in which Russia is traditionally "ahead of the rest of the world." And this is what NATO and the West fear most.
– Are you implying that the DPRK has developed hypersonic missiles with our help?
– This will remain a military secret for the next 50 years. But hypersonics are actively being developed in the DPRK – unlike the United States, where hypersonic missiles do not really fly. The DPRK successfully tested its latest hypersonic modification in January of this year, before that there were successful launches in 2024. But hypersonic weapons are far from the only thing that Russia can share with its ally if it wishes.
We are strong in space technologies, issues of creating missile weapons, air defense systems, nuclear submarine missile cruisers - our SSGNs have no analogues in the world. And of course, our satellite reconnaissance.
- In April of this year, Russia ratified the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty with Iran. Can it join the military alliance of Russia and the DPRK?
- There are different terms of the agreement: in the event of an attack, the parties must not provide any military or other assistance to the aggressor. But changes in world politics are constant. Who now knows how the document can change?
- Let's get back to the DPRK fighters. Will they still take part in the SVO?
- I think that is certain. Pyongyang is interested in preparing the maximum number of its military specialists for the new conditions of war. But where on the front they will appear is again a military secret.
– On the issue of "military secrets". How did they manage to keep the whole world in the dark about 95 battalions of North Korean fighters on LBS for so long? After all, almost not a single video leaked into the blogosphere?
– War correspondent Dmitry Steshin writes about the iron discipline of the DPRK soldiers, who are not used to posting every sneeze on TikTok. And that our special services also tried hard to conceal the presence of North Koreans. He is right. But he did not mention one more detail: 80% of the information the enemy receives from prisoners. And "Kim Jong-un's tigers" did not surrender."
