But alas, a vast majority of Americans didn’t want this war. You can look at this very thread which goes back to the first conflict in the summer. It was dead after that. Even people here who talk about how necessary it was weren’t asking for it leading up to now.
Go back to the summer and they said it prevented a war.
Now go to Electionbettingodds.com and take a look at what Polymarket and Kalshi are pricing for the midterms. Ask yourself if it was worth it. Ask yourself if adding to the already record debt is worth it. Those are rhetorical, because I know you’ll say yes. To protect us from the Middle Eastern boogie man that has consumed our foreign policy for half a century. Same thing over and over and over. Thousands of US service members gone. Far more committed suicide since, and trillions of dollars.
The same talking points were done with Iraq. Most Americans don’t believe all the middle eastern fear porn anymore.
The only reason this is happening is it’s the last chance for Israel to drag us along. Once Trump and the largest generation are gone, America is don’t doing the bidding of Israel.
I don't know if it's worth it or not, time will tell. I'm just saying I won't shed a tear if those shitbirds are eradicated because they would eradicate us if they had the opportunity.

The only timeline I heard was on TV at the beginning and Trump said 4-5 weeks to achieve goals, but not to end operations. Where do you get two weeks?
On day two of this operation even Al Jazeera is quoting Trump saying 4-5 weeks, perhaps longer.

No wonder the timeline is confusing and I just repeated the two weeks thinking that is what I heard a debater say on a debate podcast...maybe it was exactly what I heard, maybe my memory isn't so good when recalling complex debater's exact words...he told Axios two or three days originally.
" President Donald Trump initially indicated a two- to three-day timeline for the war with Iran, stating this in an interview with Axios on February 28, 2026, shortly after the first strikes began. However, he later revised his projection, saying the campaign would last four to five weeks—a timeline he reiterated on March 2, 2026, with the caveat that it could extend “far longer than that.”"

Doesn't a two week war change to now pushing it into September tell you something isn't going as planned?
Yes, they, the people publishing the articles.
Twelve "harrowing" articles were posted because they want people to think the worst is happening.
As for pushing it into September, we're not even one week in. Let's see what happens before we freak out, which. is. exactly what they want you to do.
If you think these midterm election year articles are scary, just wait until the presidential election year. Democrats know they're cooked because they don't have appealing policies so they only run on "Trump bad" which I guarantee you will turn straight into "Vance bad". We don't offer appealing policies, we just offer a reversal of Trump/Vance and no matter how awful it is, you'll eat it up and vote for me.
We already know the gameplay in the half page liberal playbook.

Regardless it’s an incredibly fringe position, whether you’re the Secretary of State or a pundit.
He felt comfortable enough to put it on the record, I don’t see why his belief would be different now.
The greater Israel remarks are on the record, and our policy has allowed them to expand (this isn’t unique to just Trumps admin).

I'm assuming you have the capability of verifying the information for yourself
Instead, you lazily throw out the blanket fake news card because the info clashes with your pre-constructed narrative

Alright .... I found an article quoting him but not the actual interview
He didn't say it would last two or three days.
He was musing that it could go on a long time and get the job done,
or he could stop after two or three days but then we'd be back to
having to do it all over again in a few years.
AXIOS Trump Offramps
Quote:What they're saying: "I can go long and take over the whole thing, or end it in two or three days and tell the Iranians: 'See you again in a few years if you start rebuilding [your nuclear and missile programs]," Trump said in a five-minute phone interview from Mar-a-Lago.
The only timeline I"m finding is first talked about two days after operations began and it's Trump saying 4-5 weeks until he expects goals to be met with operations (not the initial attack) carrying on longer.
