I've seen this news story pop up in a few places now, and thought it would be good to see what fellow D.I. members make of it??
Could this reveal Trumps underlying health issue with his mysterious bruising, make up and plasters on the back of his hand, and also recent MRI??
This case is also asking for financial data and tax returns to show if he suffered any financial loss as he claims he suffered in his case.
Trump filed the lawsuit back in 2022 after the Pulitzer Prize Board rejected his demands to rescind the 2018 prizes awarded to The 'New York Times' and 'The Washington Post'. He claims the board perpetuated “the absurdly false and defamatory narrative” that he and his campaign “colluded with Vladimir Putin and the Russian government” in the 2016 election.

From your last link:
"Legal expert David Snyder noted: “It’s part of his brand to fight the media, that’s how he built his reputation—being adverse to the media and punishing them through litigation. Whether those claims have merit—I can’t point to any time where Trump has won a jury verdict in a libel case”."
" Settlement: The board may settle rather than face damaging discovery, following the pattern of Trump’s recent ABC and CBS settlements. However, the board has stated it will not be “cowed” by Trump’s litigation tactics.
Summary judgment: Either party could seek summary judgment if discovery reveals no genuine factual disputes.
Dismissal on actual malice grounds: The board could argue Trump cannot prove actual malice even if his other claims are true."
---
"A spokesperson for Trump’s legal team stated: “President Trump is committed to holding those who traffic in fake news, lies, and smears to account, and he will see this powerhouse lawsuit through to a winning conclusion”."

Where's the discovery files Donald?
" January 10, 2025 (approximately): Trump’s deadline to respond to discovery requests (30 days from filing)"

These bullying tactics is how Trump has gotten as far as he has.
I do too.
It is perhaps the only way to bankrupt the lie machine that has gaslit the world since it's creation.
My first ATS thread all those years ago was about how the BBC manipulate peoples views by using very selective comments following their reporting.
Deepest State propoganda on a global level!

State propaganda? When they break less than complimentary stories about the Royals?
Such as leading to Mr Andrew Windsor losing his titles.
The BBC has been critical of every Govt we've had.

This thread isn't about Trump's attempts at suing the BBC.
But I will there's no denying they dropped the ball big time on the Trump footage but you're possibly forgetting coverage of the Second World War, the Falklands conflict and other first class reporting? Gaslit the world since it's creation is a bit of a ridiculous statement.
The thread is about Trump trying the Pulitzer board.

Yes. If the BBC is a massive State Propaganda machine, it's not doing that job very well.
But it is accountable as evidenced by the apology and resignations.
As for causing Trump a ridiculous supposed 5 Billion worth of damage, he can stick that where the Sun don't shine.

I followed US Clear Channel very closely. They were Christian owned.
Guess who head of the FCC was: Michael Powell son of guess who.
Guess who FOX used to own (small world):
Fox News is owned by the News Corporation, which is controlled by Rupert Murdoch. Clear Channel Communications, Inc. is no longer owned by Fox, as it was rebranded as iHeartMedia, Inc. in 2014.

Oops! OK I do try to stay on track
FROM OP: On Thursday, members of the Pulitzer Prize Board fired back at Trump’s long-running defamation lawsuit by dropping a 12-page legal broadside in Okeechobee County, Florida, demanding that the president finally prove it. Not with Truth Social posts. Not with cable hits. But with sworn disclosures, financial records, and potentially even his medical history.

Trump should be dropping this lawsuit shortly.
