Supreme Court Nomination by Trump
#1
Depending on which side of the isle you are on this is either great news or cry at the sky news. The Supreme Court will be having some turn over probably within Trump's remaining term limit. Guess who he thinks would be a great Court Justice to nominate ?

I don't know if that is good or bad, but the fact that judges are politically chosen in the US should be considered a problem, not a solution.

I don't get it. Cruz has said he is not interested multiple times.

He has mentioned he prefers politics, and he is looking into another run for President in 2028.

Its almost as if Trump is trying to keep Cruz out of the next race.

I just don't see him as POTUS.
He definitely lacks in leadership qualities, although I think he knows his Constitution.

So long as Cruz replaces a Thomas or an Alito, have at it.

it would only be something to cry at if he replaced a Sotomayor... because then there'd be a 7-2 advantage to make even more of their wonderful decisions with...

I do so enjoy their opinion of what's  "deeply rooted in the Nation's history and tradition" and the selective, not at all fallacy-laden way they apply it is just THE BEST!!!!

See... I sublimated a negative emotion and said something positive....

Don't worry, the next democrat/leftist president and next democrat/leftist senate will stack the court with blue-haired extremists who will interpret the Constitution as racist and abolish it for something Karl Marx came up with a while back.

I know this is my problem alone, but once I saw Cruz as Grandpa Munster, he was forever ruined for me.   Not his fault.  My fault.   Stupid thing to obsess over.
