Can you blame him?
Why might he concede territory that Russia does not control?
Crimea is lost, Russia won't give it up.
Does Russia not already control the majority of the 4 oblasts they want Ukraine to leave? Why would Russia just give it back now? Especially in light of the military sentiment that anything less than securing those territories is a loss and makes all the soldiers deaths in vain. He might even face a rebellion against him for giving in before their goals are met. What cards does Ukraine hold that can give them an upper hand here? So far no one seems to be able to tell me.

If you are talking about Ukraine withdrawing troops from areas then it follows that Russia does not control said areas.
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope. Nothing...

They control the majority of those areas, I am literally looking at the map now and its a large majority. What can Ukraine do to reverse that realistically? Nothing they have done or the west has done has had any real effect. Every day the line moves 4kms or so in Russia's favor...why would they ever stop before they finish securing those other 4 regions? Ukraine is just throwing more of their people to the meat grinder for nothing but a delay in the inevitable. No one seems to be able to point out what cards Ukraine holds that can make any difference to help their situation improve in the way Zelensky says he wants. Shit in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills faster...

The meat grinder is for the attacking forces rather than the defending ones.
But if you are right, Russia will be in Kyiv soon so let's see.
Trump has cards, like sanctions, but he seems unwilling to play them. I wonder what cards Putin might have against him?

Strategically speaking, no one is going to be in Kyiv soon.
Its going to be a stalemate and slow encroachment until they run out of bodies.
Already getting there.
Its been two years and Russia only got a few clicks in.
This brings to mind Putin's long forgotten Young Leader status.
Globalism demands large sacrifice.
Is he playing a role of boogie man to kill all the independent free ground thinkers to usher in Monsanto Bayer Starbuckism into both Ukraine AND Russia?
hmmmmm

hmmmmm The lines have been moving around 4km a day...not sure where you are getting your info but there is an invreasimg advance happening. I doubt they make it to the capital before winter or anything like that...I also don't believe thats the goal anyway. It is pretty obvious that Ukraine is starting to falter on the defense and its becoming more and more apparent each day. Sanctions haven't done much so far and while in the middle of a trade war its unlikely to get traction with Russia's main trade partners whom it seems we are already pressuring. Maybe it works but I sure don't see it. For years we have heard how any day now they will collapse and for years they have kept going. Now able to produce more arms by quite a bit than they could at the onset of this war.

Kind of hard to get everyone on board with sanctions when you are in the middle of a trade war. Especially those whom Russia does the most trade with...those countries aren't exactly our best friends anyway. It seems as though Trump is trying to dangle a carrot of renewed trade and relations with Russia but will it matter?

While Trump tells every EU money grubbing schmuck that peace talks WILL happen, just yesterday, Poland has reinstated a form of draft.
These EU stooges really dont want the gravy train to stop.

Work is under way to make all men in Poland undergo military training, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.
In a speech to the Polish parliament, Tusk said the government aimed to give full details in the coming months.
Efforts are being made to "prepare large-scale military training for every adult male in Poland," he told the Sejm.

Oh, those naughty Poles. I am of course well aware of the dual nature of this news.
The normy view of it is 'of course you would want to beef up defence!'
The conspiracy view of it is, prepping the civil narrative to continue the war. The perspective is NEED DEFENCE = Continuing war. It's all about perspective. Right?
Lay the seeds of fear to continue conflict. It's all mental.
