Trump is in talks with Russia to end the war

I'm waiting for the King of the Art of the Deal to play his winning cards.

He does have them, doesn't he?

Supposedly what the U.S. can offer Ukraine is high tech satellite surveillance to monitor Russia should they break any agreement, which they don't seem to have any qualms in breaking agreements.

Russia can't be trusted, therefore they need to be monitored.

Will Russia allow Turkish peacekeeping troops on Ukrainian soil?

It seems Zelensky is willing to give Putin a lot for the sake of long lasting peace; if there can ever be long lasting peace when it comes to Putin.

Can Zelensky trust Trump is the question?

This is reading like a bad Tarantino script.
Ukraine says it agrees to a ceasefire IF Russia does, and stops bombing but doesn't trust Russia.

USA says it agrees to broker the ceasefire to take advantage of it all and because the two sides don't trust eachother.
Instead of playing this game of who blinks first, it would be cool if someone just decided to end all the stipulations and just make a declaration, ok, as of today, this date we are officially stopping all hostilities and ordering a ceasefire.   We will give it 24 hours to stick and make sure no one fires a shot.
Instead it's all talk, so far.

To continue, it would be easier to iron out details of who keeps what and where, if no one is currently shooting.
Instead, the ceasefire is continually dangled at the end of the process like a carrot, instead of at the beginning, as a sign and action of good faith.

Zelensky stated that the U.S. satellite surveillance monitoring of both sides cannot happen immediately, so that needs to be in place before any ceasefire. Russia has proven to break many agreements in the past, so they cannot be trusted.

Sheesh, between establishing peace in Ukraine, ensuring Europe's ongoing energy supply, and quelling the Houthi piracy, ensuring Europes trade routes, America's magananimity knows no bounds!

Why, they should be paying us! Why are they so hung up on Canada and Greenland? It's not even their hemisphere.

Edit: I am just saying this is all ridiculous. Seriously, America? Go watch basketball.

I agree, part of getting this whole thing done, is making sure no one kicks the ball after the whistle is blown.

No. Ukraine has agreed to an unconditional 30 days ceasefire. Russia has not.

Don't you understand this?

disconnected delusional thought outbursts...disturbing. You do realize your writing is getting short, fragmented and resembles slogans. Why Russia cannot be trusted?

Let's see what you come up with.

Zelensky mentioned the ceasefire today so we will see how long it holds
