Putin is absolutely massively corrupt.
As for being a thug, Putin started out as a street thug, went on to be a KGB thug, and then a murderous dictator thug who has murdered or gulaged (sometimes both) his political opponents.
A wanted war criminal, too.
How does that compare with Zelensky?

I am talking about the whole regime in Kiev, not just Zelensky.

Why are you citing people supposedly in Zelensky's regime who haven't been for years?

Because I haven't the energy to do ALL of your homework for you.
If you can't see that he surrounds himself with thugs and neonazis, when i show you the data, regardless of if it was a few years ago or not, then I dont know what to tell you.
Are you claiming by this HUGE difference in dates, that he has suddenly changed his stripes to be more respectable for Western money?
laughable.

Nobody gets it, they both are corrupt and crime-ridden, grant you Ukraine seems to be trying but I tried to learn Chemistry and it never stuck either.
Besides much of Eastern Europe operates with an organized corrupt and graft-filled underbelly, and people want to send another 100 billion it's SAF. We are damn lucky it hasn't escalated so far, and it would be better for the region, the continent, and the world if it was resolved peacefully for now.
How Deep Does Corruption Run in Ukraine?
Ukraine has made significant progress fighting graft, but its record continues to haunt it.

During a recent off-the-record think tank discussion on Ukraine, a respected journalist raised the issue of the damaging effects that Ukraine’s ongoing corruption issues have had on U.S. congressional Republican support for the country as it resists Russia’s invasion. The journalist’s comment, of course, was not the first about what has become a bugbear for Ukraine’s friends and enemies alike. Indeed, corruption in Ukraine’s economy, and more recently within its military structures, is a problem that needs to be addressed forcefully and forthrightly by Ukraine’s leaders.

Quote:While Ukraine has stepped up its anti-graft measures over the past decade to bolster its chances of joining the European Union, corruption scandals are still rife in the war-torn country, where a multi-billion-dollar reconstruction programme has provided new opportunities for personal enrichment.
When Bart Gruyaert agreed to help rebuild destroyed apartment blocks outside Kyiv, he hoped to be one cog in Ukraine's vast reconstruction programme, repairing just some of the damage wrought by Russia's invasion.
But when the French company he works for, Neo-Eco, applied for building permits in the town of Gostomel, the local military administration asked the company to transfer the funds for the multimillion-dollar project to its bank account, under the pretence that it would run the project directly.
Officials told Gruyaert, "it's better if you transfer the money you received to our account," he recalled.
"But it doesn't work like that," he told AFP.
The company refused, and progress on the initiative, which had secured 20 million euros in private funding, immediately slowed.
It marked the latest example of the endemic corruption that has plagued Ukraine since it became independent after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.
His mind was not for rent to any god or government
Always hopeful yet discontent, knows changes aren't permanent
But change is

Exactly. They both suck
I am just sick of people 'simping' for Ukraine and pretending like its not a shit hole full of thugs just as bad as Russia. And I have been to Ukraine, I know it's a shithole. This was about 2004 or so. Im sure it hasnt improved much. I was always warned not to use ATMs or cards at gas pumps due to skimmers .
The plus side was I got bootleg Nirvana CDs and bootleg computer games.
Ha!
