All because he didn't get his way. A total unhinged rant.
This kind of thing sets markets in a tizzy. They are very delicate.
The slightest word from anyone and they go 'tilt'.
But this time they didn't. I don't understand why.
Unless people realize Trumps time is short and he can't do what he threatens.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him declared unfit and kicked out.
The emperor wears no cloths.
If you take a look at a lot of the executive orders, nothing ever happened. Everything was just declared an immediate win. Even tariffs lost their market moving powers after they went back and forth with the TACO term being coined.
Tariffs were the cornerstone of this term, something all the wagons go hitched to, and most of the broader strategy bet all in on.
If you look at the betting markets, there’s a 75-80% chance the right loses the house, and even a 40% chance they lose the senate. The senate was considered impossible just a few months ago.
Trump kept pressing to see the limits of his power, but he did it on the wrong things, and more importantly didn’t deliver much to the average American. The US dollar is down about 10% since he took office (maybe more). He says people said the DOW and S&P hitting these levels would be impossible in four years, yet he did it in one. Reality is these are pretty average gains for the market, maybe a little bit above average… but that’s almost negated by the decrease in the dollar.
If he had delivered to the average person, they’d put up with a lot. But prices didn’t go down, and were more interested in trade wars and kinetic wars than anything at home.
Market is saying he’s a lame duck now. His words don’t move the markets like they used to.

The fact that the markets do fluctuate in response to words only should tell you everything you need to know.
The entire thing is a Ponzi scheme.
Basically all this does is put the USA back to where we were before, which is getting ripped off by a worldwide trade imbalance.

I think the markets reacted positively to the judgement getting rid of stupid tariffs.
But after that unhinged rant...
He is plainly unfit. Now beyond any doubt.
Where are all the pro tariff folk?

You seem to have about as much understanding of trade deficits as Trump doesn't.
That was an incoherent unhinged and embarrassing rant. No?

I didn't listen to it, I had more important shit to take care of here in my life than listen to him.
I am sure I will see the highlights later on.

About trade imbalances and global trade economics in general.
Where might I be wrong about that being being an incoherent unhinged rant that proves him, if further proof were needed, that he is unfit for Office?
Biden was bad, this is worse.
He is an embarrassment to your Country.

Perhaps get round to bothering to listening to it before chiming in about it?

So you are denying that the USA was getting smoked on most trade deals before the Trump tariffs?
As far as chiming in about it without hearing what he had to say, who gives a fuck?
I don't really care what he had to say, I saw the headline that the SC stopped his tariffs, that is enough to make a comment.
You are taking your self imposed role as the DI police too seriously, people can post at will here.
