Trump is going hard on Israel and is also talking with Hamas about power transfers. I may hate him, but it appears he's doing something right?

You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

Trump said accept this or we'll give Israel all the tools to finish the job. Now that is how you negotiate!
It is absurd to call it a negotiation, just as it was absurd to call it a war. The final piece is in place, the critical infrastructure of Gaza City—their last city—is destroyed, and the means to rebuild it have been eliminated. Hamas is the walking dead. They have nothing more to rule over or leverage, they now merely represent a defeated people. All they can do is surrender. Hooray for peace!

Yeah the situation is awful and we no place for them to go, as Palestinians are ironically in the Middle East what the Jews were before Israel. The situation gets even worse when you realize just how much power Netanyahu has acquired, in order to prevent Dictatorship, the Shin Bet has made it they're mission to arrest if possible Bibi. Christian Palestinians took violence from both sides and are at risk for further genocide. It's a bad situation and Trump will need to preform at a much higher level then any other time.

According to the piece deal, after the hostages are released, Israel will withdraw from Gaza. Hamas does not need to surrender. Fox Quote:"They’re willing to stop growing stronger but not to disarm. They’ll hand over what’s left of their rocket infrastructure but keep light weapons and explosives," he said. "Hamas will remain in Gaza under every scenario — as a military and social force. The war may end, but Hamas stays." BBC Quote:On 3 October, Hamas said it agreed to return all 48 remaining hostages being held in Gaza in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and Gaza detainees, and to the idea of handing over the governance of Gaza to Palestinian technocrats.

Personally I just don’t believe it will be peace. It will just be a cessation of armed hostilities for a short time. It won’t last.
Hamas may be dead in the water, but someone else will slide in and take over the fight. I’m not being negative here, I am just not convinced that it is possible to have peace there. The hatred is far too ingrained, it’s generational and religiously rooted. Essentially we’re talking about the Canaanites and Hebrews. Dogon and Ba’al vs YHWH. But what do I know? As usual, my 2 pesos… Tecate

Look at some of his old stuff before he ran against Hillary. He was basically a true believer Democrat before he ran Republican. The Republicans were actually afraid he'd be a crypto Leftist.

They aren't exactly the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree either. |
