Nope, but they did invade, colonize, and own India before it broke apart and Pakistan became a nation, so....

And what is now Pakistan once belonged to the British Empire.

Quite a few of our own ancestors would have braved the journey or were forced to cross the pond down to the likes of endured servitude or transportation.
