Merseyside police say a car collided with pedestrians during Liverpool FC's Premier League trophy parade in the English city of Liverpool on Monday, and a man has been detained. 
Numerous emergency vehicles are on the scene. Thousands upon thousands of fans took to the streets of the port city to celebrate the team's incredibly dominant run to the Premier League title, which the team celebrated at their home stadium, Anfield, on Sunday, before the scheduled parade on Monday. Liverpool is located over 200 miles northwest of London.
"We are currently dealing with reports of an RTC (road traffic crash) in Liverpool city center. We were contacted at just after 6 p.m. today, Mon 26 May, following reports a car had been in collision with a number of pedestrians on Water Street. The car stopped at the scene and a male detained," read a statement from the Merseyside Police on X.
It's unclear at this time as to how many people were potentially injured and the severity of any injuries.

'Do not speculate': Merseyside Police statement in fullpublished at 15:0115:01We've just reported an update from Merseyside Police that a 53-year-old white British man has been arrested.
Here's the full statement from their spokesperson:
"We would ask people not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding tonight's incident on Water Street in Liverpool city centre.
"We can confirm the man arrested is a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area.
"Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances leading up to the collision.

By the looks of it that's approximately 20-30 people he's drove into, the first one looked possibly fatal, and the poor sods caught under what appears to be both sides of the vehicle probably have not faired to well nether.

LFC does have the world's top Muslim footballer...  Could be a racist thing. 

47 goal involvements. 29 goals, 18 assists. He's a thorn in every other EPL fan's side and has been one of the  best players on earth his entire time in The EPL. Golden boot again at 32. God has been great for Mohammed Salah. 

I have first-hand reason for speculating and can connect another personal story. 

I worked at one of many bars that specialized in opening early for Premier league. So I have watched a lot of (dirty Crystal Palace fan) Rebecca Lowe and Premier League Mornings. If you love football (soccer) and supporters group crowds, you have no problem with those shifts. 

Well, there was always a healthy LFC crowd. And one day this drunk guy starts going off on LFC for having Salah after he scored. "He's a disgrace to a white sport!" (irony of that aside) and started ranting about "the Muslim African n***ers like Sadio Mane." He got 86'd for life, but not before exposing that some sad people hate LFC over African Muslims.

almost 50 people injured in total. 27 adults and children, 2 including a child are in critical condition, 4 children in total were hospitalised.
The emergency services had to lift the car to get to 4 people, including one child, who were stuck under the car.

Didn't the police and free gear kier go on TV after the Southport attack saying that it wasn't anything to do with radical viewpoints, that turned out to be bollocks as well. Just like the other thread on here about the Muslim idiot saying that he was going to rape and kill babies in Ireland (all on video) and the police did nothing about it.

The Southport attack was carried out Axel Rudakubana, an 18-year-old from Lancashire, England.

The false claim was that the Southport attacker was an asylum seeker.

Did not help that stupid people claimed he arrived in the UK by boat, which also fueled the flames, given the current climate at the time.

When in reality, the attacker was born in Cardiff, Wales, to Rwandan parents and had no history of arriving in the UK by boat or being asylum seekers.
