FF put up data points of crime stats and it was insinuated that it was racist to do so.
My assertion stands whether one thinks it's moot (or mote in your case).
I'm not getting involved in whether FF is racist or not, but she does not live in that country, so I'll listen to those that do.
Oops moot. I hate getting old and forgetting words and how to spell them.

Something the Gammon may realise if they actually ever bothered to open a history book.
Most people in the UK simply wish to get on with the day and live and let live by my estimation.
Do we have problems with immigration and immigrants, yes.
But it's hard to hate someone for simply wanting a better life for themselves.
If i lived in some of the hell holes they are forced to endure, i would want out and off to a better place, that's for sure.
The reason they are “hell holes” is because the people who live there.
If you move to a new country and bring your “hell hole” culture with you and try to change the new country with your “hell hole” culture it’s only natural that the people in the new country will not appreciate it.
It’s got nothing to do with race.

Actually here in the UK there is lots of backlash against illegal immigration. Especially when they are put up in hotels, have no background checks and pay criminal gangs around 4k to get here. While our homeless are left on the streets.
What’s pisses me off is huff post reading, middle class muppet’s texting on their phones their support for those hard done by in a foreign country as they walk past homeless people on the streets. Another thing is confounding illegal immigration with legal immigration like they are the same thing and calling people against the former stupid council estate dwelling scum who fear the loss of their non existent jobs.
But then as you’re probably starting to realise there’s lots of things that piss me off!

Hey if you live there you are allowed to be pissed off. Whether or not the being pissed off is warranted or not is another question.

That's nonsense.
Countries aren't "hell holes" because of their people.
They're that way because of history, war, colonialism, corruption, and exploitation.
Often by richer nations like the UK or your own respective USA.
People fleeing those sorts of conditions aren't bringing chaos, they're escaping it.
Culture isn't a virus, it evolves.
This nation was shaped by Romans, Vikings, Saxons, Normans, and countless others.
Immigrants don't "ruin" countries, they build them, like your own for a start.
They pay taxes and raise families just like everybody else.
Blaming people for being born in broken systems is lazy and cruel.
The real issue isn't immigration, it's ignorance and fear dressed up as patriotism.

If those immigrants are so amazing then why don’t they fix their own country instead of ruining someone else’s?
I know you’re high on that white guilt drug so I’ll consider that when I read your reply to my question.

They typically receive less than £50 a week(£7 a day) once they get here and are not allowed to work until they resolve their asylum claims.
If you ever get to interact with them, you may find a lot of them are in some state, just like our own homeless really, and i've been there.
The thing is, those who choose to hate, and lay blame, are after the people in the wrong boats.
It's the bastards in the super yachts that are the problem.
Not some poor sod from Iran that only wants a better life.
Who paid his life savings to hang on to the side of a boat on the off chance he might make it to our shores if he clings on hard enough.
But that's just my two cents, other opinions obviously vary.

Possibly because we have bombed their nations silly or given/sold others the weaponry to do so already.
If we bomb them......they will come.
Snip(removed so as not to offend).
My advice, go meet some actual immigrants, that way you may know what you are talking about.
Ask them why they chose to come, and they may even tell you if you are respectful and polite.
My guess is that it will be the same to similar reasons as own ancestors.
Might want to lose the majority of all that fear and hatred before approaching anyone you deem to be different from yourself.
After all, people are mirrors no matter their colour or creed and tend to be more similar than different when you get down to the brass tacks.
