Bob Roberts is a folk singer and conservative politician on the campaign trail, but the subtexts take digs at both left and right.
"I wish I could vote for you twice"
"well you actually can--"
"Really?"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103850/
Its a political satire, so there is only one shooting.
Hope you enjoy.

This little tidbit of history is little known outside of my little town, even tho it was an act of war from the British toward the US, and the wiki article is 'sanitized" to be more "neutral".
First some context. In 1772 the UK banned slavery in Brittan and all her colonies under the decision of the Somerset case...
Quote:The case was closely followed throughout the Empire, particularly in the thirteen American colonies.[sup][2][/sup] Scholars have disagreed over precisely what legal precedent the case set.
As I said, the wiki on these is sanitised
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somerset_v_Stewart
Well that meant the British had to create this thing called "convicts", Finnian disseats the majority of them. By increasing penalties for things like eating bread or farting in the general direction of an Etonia, they created a "criminal class" and then what did they do?...
Then they sent them here to Australia!. And the most awesome of those sent here were sent to Fremantle Prison.
But the awesome Finnian's were too smart for the British guards, and some escaped, and were picked up by longboats from the US ship the Catalpa. The British prison guards were British military, and by shooting at the longboats, it could be seen as an act of war, and by the time the news got back to Lundun it was too late to even say passive aggressive words and they had already just lost one war to the US so they pretended it didn't happen.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalpa_rescue
The wiki states they were picked up near modern day Rockingham, but it was South Fremantle where they were rescued, I dont know what revisionist claims Rockingham, but they have never walked that distance if they think so.

So, this story came from New York Post:
'UFO' whizzes past Poland-bound airplane, video shows (nypost.com)
Quote: A flight attendant believes she captured the moment a hot pink “UFO” nonchalantly buzzed past her plane as it soared above Europe.
Four unusually shaped pink orbs blinked clearly against the dark nighttime sky, distinctly separate from the cityscape down below, the video she shot shows.
“I’ve been a flight attendant for a year and have never seen anything like this,” Wizz Air worker Denisa Tanase, 36, told SWNS.
The UK native didn’t initially notice the odd sight when she filmed it on her flight from Luton, England to Syzmany, Poland.
Now pink is one of Wizz Air's corporate logo colors, and the flight attendant even points this out in the story:
Quote: “It was a weird shape, like a circle flashing pink. At first, we thought maybe it was a reflection of our pink uniform but on the video, you can see the motion — you can see it’s flying.”
What makes me believe that she is only seeing something reflected back in the window is that she states:
Quote: “But when I checked the video 20 minutes later I spotted it and I spoke to the pilot to ask if they knew anything. Everyone was confused — they hadn’t seen anything while flying and there had been no turbulence.
Now if nobody else saw these flying around, and even the pilots were not aware of these flying around, then isn't it most likely that the items she saw were just reflections in the window?
Ok, so now why does this matter at all. Well, I'm concerned that a new UFO-Panic is going to get shoved on the public, and stories like these that are not being vetted before being printed is going to be the norm like they were back in the 1940s-60s. The more of these stories that get shoved out to the public, the more we need to debunk the frauds and HOAXes as quickly as possible in order to concern ourselves with possible real UFO/UAP events.
What's your take on this UFO seen by Wizz Airlines?
And not to capitalize on this, how does everyone else feel about this renewed interest in the UFO/UAP phenomenon?

SUMMARY SUMMARY SUMMARY
This episode is 2 in one, an old episode never aired plus current day with updates on Senate SCIF and Jelly Fish Video.
They are having a lot of new whistleblowers coming out of the woodwork. They had a lot before, but recently a lot more are coming out and talking to them.
TMZ very trusted now. They are very into UFO reporting because of leadership at channel. Most mainstream still ignoring UFO topic.
Jellyfish debuted on TMZ. This podcast partially recorded months ago: had both UAP videos on it but never released.
*Pre recorded session begin*
9 flying saucers according to Lazar at Area 51, all different shaped. A lot of odd shapes get reported to corbell and Knapp. They share it with government officials to get feedback. Jellyfish a commonly reported shape but not publicized.
Jellyfish ufo started 10 year Russian ufo investigation but blamed on rocket launch as cover story.
Pantex nuclear base - work on nuclear weapons on the base. Jellyfish ufo recorded there. Thermal and night-vision video both recorded. Domed 8 foot radius with tentacles.
Jellyfish recorded 2017 Iraq Middle East base. Classified as UAP. Feeds shut off to other countries so they could not see this video. Could not lock on the jellyfish which was highly unusual. There is a close up video of it. Geometric shapes on tentacles. Not balloon, metal of some sort. All hands on deck when they started recording it and cut off all feeds to allied. People dispatched to record it with other equipment. But could not see or record it in night vision devices. They ask everyone. Did you see anything? Had to sign ndas. They play second video of jellyfish. This video is from much further away. They video is zooming in and out on the video as they record it. [Definitely not camera smudge/pidgeon poop.] there is a 3rd video of the jellyfish going into the water and coming out. It is being held by an intelligence agency. Jellyfish was slow over base, started going very fast over water.
There have video of ufo over nuclear base in France they are not releasing yet - they didn’t mention the shape.
*End pre-recorded segment*
Many years people have being seen at the base. Called ghost on the base or spaghetti monster. They received these videos many times over the years from multiple sources. People saw it in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 by multiple people telling them about this.
More witness have come forward since it aired on TMZ who saw it.
Could be active jamming on jellyfish. Could not lock on. Not balloon. Users trained on balloons being viewed. They easily lock balloons, could not lock this object. This was first time this weapon system could not get a lock.
They have visitor who saw video when he gets to base after. New York Post twisted his words. He doesn’t know what it is he just knows he saw longer video of this. Post tried to get him to debunk it. He doesn’t hold firm position, thinks it might be prosaic but open to it being something else. There are multiple recordings of various lengths. His job to detect enemy drones and stop them, and to direct our drones. Only thermal picked it up, no other systems. He wasn’t there when video recorded, was on server and shown it.
The chandelier ufo is on a server with a lot of interesting ufo videos.
Grusch Ig SCIF:
They confirmed Grusch telling truth about what he said publicly and is who he says he is. Very bipartisan. Tim Burchett gave it 4/10. Wants more info. Congressmen seemed stunned with info received. The takeaway is there are going to be more public briefings on this - sources Ogles and other congressmen.
END SUMMMARY
My take:
Very good episode. Not a lot of new info, but it sets things firmly in context.
The jellyfish is real, no one knows what it is, but it was there and not bird poop/artifact on lense. There have been multiple seen and recorded around the world.

Cloned rhesus monkey created to speed medical research. So it's lived for 2 years and is perfectly fine.
So how much longer till I can get a clone for all my parts that are wearing out. PS wasn't sure where to put this either....
https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-67987633
Quote:Chinese researchers have cloned the first rhesus monkey, a species which is widely used in medical research because its physiology is similar to humans.
They say they could speed up drug testing, as genetically identical animals give like-for-like results, providing greater certainty in trials.
Previous attempts to clone a rhesus have either not led to births or the offspring have died a few hours later.
One animal welfare group has said it is "deeply concerned" by the development.
In mammals, sexual reproduction leads to offspring made up of a mixture of genes from their father and mother. In cloning, techniques are used to create a genetically identical copy of a single animal.
The most famous cloned animal, Dolly the sheep, was created in 1996. Scientists reprogrammed a cell from another sheep to turn them into embryos which are building block cells that can grow into any part of an organism. These embryos were then implanted into Dolly's surrogate mother.
Writing in the journal Nature communications, the researchers say they have essentially done the same thing but with a rhesus monkey. They say that the animal has remained healthy for more than two years, indicating the cloning process was successful.
Dr Falong Lu of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences told BBC News that ''everyone was beaming with happiness'' at the successful outcome.
But a spokesperson for the UK's Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) said that the organisation believed that the animal suffering caused outweighed any immediate benefit to human patients.

Recently we had a special kind of nonsense take place. The Miss America Pageant took place and I'm willing to bet that the winner is going to be a Political Canidate before too long (maybe even running in 2028). Madison Marsh might not be what she seems, though I will admit I could be wrong so let me explain why I think she's Deep State Actress.
She is the first contestant to win the Miss America Pageant that is active-duty personnel (this isn't a big deal, but let put a stick in that for now)
She graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a degree in Astrophysics (so if aliens land she would have some expert opinion about it)
She's also a pilot (not sure if she's a pilot in the Air Force or if she just likes to fly, again though she would know the difference between a balloon and a space craft)
She's attending classes at Havard Kenndey School of to pursue a Master's degree in Public Policy (so MKUltra Institute itself as well as a degree in something outside of her original degree of Astrophysics.)
Finally, she is a founder of a cancer institute (which I'm having a hard time find much about)
Now it seems to me that a very liberal organization such as the Miss America Organization isn't the kind of group that would push a member of the Armed Forces to be a winner, but here we have it Madison Marsh 2sn LT in the Air Force. We have a very grifty group in the US Government that is pushing money and possible fear of Aliens through in the publics attention. Here we have an officer in the US military getting attention through "other means". Let's look at the boxes checked off for voters:
Military Service Check
TV Attractiveness Check
Specialized education Check
Ivy League Grad Check (well soon to be checked)
Now as I pointed out above Harvard of a hot spot for CIA backed mind control projects, MKUltra being the most famous. Her education and celebrity is either being used already or will be used very soon. Something else I noticed about her; neither the Air Force News nor Military.com are talking about this win. I'm getting the weird feeling that she is going to be pushed out into the world of politics as a conservative and get the "Obama Treatment" in order to sell her to the American Public as the first woman President.
So, am I wrong here, does anyone else get this weird feeling about her background, or what?

Legendary Comic George Carlin Brought back to Life with AI - Is this too Far?
Good write-up here and link to video, got to agree with Carlin's daughter.
This is shit, Microsoft Windows trying to do a bad Carlin impressionist with hemorrhoids and attitude. Its not wrong on all topics mind you, it just misses his essence and nuances and isn't funny. Trying to sound like an angry hack trying to be somebody who does a bad Carlin impression. The canned fake laughter BS trying to be updated no more no less
Won't be long till people are saying did you hear what Carlin said about Taylor Swift.
Please tell me we aren't listening intently to AI to make our decisions.
Found this on Reddit and thought it would make for a good topic here
Quote:A "new" special was recently released titled "George Carlin: I'm Glad I'm Dead!" Just like the title suggest, Carlin's been dead for the last 16 years. The special was created by an AI program called Dudesy, which did something similar earlier with Tom Brady, but was quickly removed after an onslaught of legal threats from the QB. It's not really surprising how the special was received, with Carlin's daughter saying, "No machine will ever replace his genius. These AI generated products are clever attempts at trying to recreate a mind that will never exist again."
This was the original article I found.
I think that while AI has come a long way, it's still incredibly difficult to emulate the actual human part of people. Carlin is arguably one of the greatest social commentators of the last century. That is an extremely difficult thing to replicate - for any person, let alone a string of 1s and 0s. Is this something that we actually even want? I get that there may be some social good aspects, but this feels like diluting the memory and work of such an influential figure. I may be biased, having grown up on Carlin, but his catalogue of actual work is so expansive - why bother?
Should this be a warning sign for other comedians, entertainers, etc..? Turning in your grave is one thing, but for living people, I feel that there could further implications. Tom Brady's stand-up is one thing, but emulating the cadence and material of living performers in their exact industry... Take Drake for example. Remember the string of songs that came out in 2023 using AI voice replicators? Whether or not they were good, or not is besides the point (although they sounded a lot more like Drake, than Drake's recent catalogue).
What do you think? I wrote more about this here, if you want to check it out. I'm not a big fan of using peoples likeness, whether commercially or not. While the advancements have been cool to see, it can go down a much more malicious route that I'm not sure we have the safeguards in place for.

Now that the news is out, we have to ask ourselves why push these things as real in front of the world unless there is something else behind them.
‘Non-human’ alien corpses are dolls made of bones, paper: experts (nypost.com)
Quote: The tiny “non-human” mummified remains found in Peru over the summer that spurred dozens of alien conspiracy theories are nothing more than dolls, forensic experts ruled.
The creepy figures — with only three fingers on each hand and elongated ET-style heads — are made with paper, glue, metal and human and animal bones, the country’s prosecutor’s office said Friday.
“The conclusion is simple: they are dolls assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues, therefore they were not assembled during pre-Hispanic times,” forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada, who led the analysis, told reporters.
“They are not extraterrestrials; they are not aliens.”
So, what was the real purpose of showing these fake aliens?
Well, it could have been an occult ritual. These items are made from both animal and human bones, and of course there was that famous video of the cakes that were eaten that looked just like these items. I'm calling the fake aliens items for now since we don't know the full story of what these were about. This could indicate the symbology of cannibalism and animal sacrifice while the world watched.
I guess we have to ask ourselves why these known fakes would be allowed by the Mexican Government to be showcased to the world, and then allow for some of the governmental officials to take part in that cake video. These items were, in my opinion, were not about aliens but was about forcing others to witness some type of occult ritual.

Terence McKenna, the American botanist, psychonaut, and philosopher in short video , which i find interesting ...
And for the term " Novelty Theory " McKenna is talking about, here is two links that give some picture about it :
Mysterious Object at Noon: Terence McKenna’s Novelty Theory.
The Curious Case of Accelerating Time
It`s interesting that , in some way it has to been looked or feeled like time is speeding up, accelerating......i thought it´s because i am getting older, which is also good explanation.....But this fast ? and same time so weird , like McKenna express it " just what the hell is going on ? "
IDK....but i have a feeling McKenna is on to something here...But not sure what to think , let`s say this is one option , and keep our eyes open .

Synthetic Milk |

I recommend adding this stuff your " avoid at all costs list " Do not drink it under any circumstances.
Unlabeled And Unregulated: Got (GMO Synthetic) Milk?
Quote:No antibiotics, no hormones. Just dairy. A new completely lactose-free dairy. Dairy without the cows?
Um, how does that work?
The fake milk, sold by Bored Cow, uses a wannabe whey protein – “microflora” called “ProFerm” made by their partner Perfect Day, “a consumer biology company on a mission to create a kinder, greener tomorrow by developing new ways to make the foods you love today — starting in the dairy aisle.”
They claim their product is a new kind of “animal-free” milk alternative “made with real milk protein from fermentation.”
Health Research Institute (HRI), a nonprofit independent lab based in Fairfield, Iowa examined multiple samples of Bored Cow’s “original” flavor milk using mass spectrometry to test the claim that the synthetic protein it contained was the same as real milk protein. HRI compared these results to samples of natural milk from grass-fed cows.
Their testing revealed 92 unknown molecules — and a fungicide — in “synthetic” milk protein used by more than a dozen food brands sold in common grocery chains.
The ingredients listed for Bored Cow’s “original” flavor are:
“Water, animal-free whey protein (from fermentation), sunflower oil, sugar, less than 1% of: vitamin A, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), vitamin D2, riboflavin, citrus fiber, salt, dipotassium phosphate, acacia, gellan gum, mixed tocopherols (antioxidant), calcium potassium phosphate citrate, natural flavor.” Quote:This is a stew made with sorcery and mostly crap, starting with the sunflower oil that is a highly inflammatory seed oil that may be genetically modified as well. Meanwhile, the label does not specify whether the whey protein in this productwas produced through genetic engineering of yeast. Also, the main input for fermentation is sugar — and they’re using high fructose corn syrup, which is also a GMO product. It’s all gross and phoney.
Aside from the host of unknown compounds, the synthetic milk lacked many important micronutrients found in natural milk, such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E and some B vitamins. Additionally, forms of carnitine that are “really important for energy metabolism” were either missing or only present in trace amounts in the synbio product.
“There are 69 important nutrients present in natural milk, most of which were completely absent in synbio milk. A few were present in small or trace amounts,” according to HRI’s Chief Scientist and CEO John Fagan, Ph.D. Fagan — a molecular biologist and former cancer researcher at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) — is a worldwide pioneer in testing genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Additionally, only eight compounds were identifiable. The rest were “uncharacterized” by scientific literature.
“The 92 unknown molecules we found have never been studied by scientists, so we don’t know whether they’re safe or dangerous, whether they are nutrients or toxins,” added Fagan.
Fagan found it concerning that the Bored Cow samples also contained an agricultural fungicide called Benthiavalicarb-isopropyl.
“I think the reason this fungicide is present is because they added it to the fermentation process to inhibit the growth of fungi that could contaminate the production system,” he said, “So the things that we see here are not really good for us, let me put it that way.”
HCI’s official report has not been published yet.
But suffice to say, these results contradict Perfect Day’s claim that its product — used by Bored Cow — is “identical to what cows make.”
Claiming the proteins are “molecularly identical to those produced by cows” is a lie.
Synthetic milk has never before been consumed by humans and has not undergone safety testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Sheesh....they are really thinking only about poison people with their crap .

There seems to be an outbreak of sightings when it comes to ten-foot-tall creatures walking around.
Both stories are from the New York Post.
Miami Police dispel rumors of an alien at shopping mall (nypost.com)
Quote:Miami police shut down wild rumors that a 10-foot-tall alien was roaming the Floridian city on New Year’s Day after the conspiracy theory ran rampant on social media.
10-foot-tall 'strange beings' seen traversing Brazilian island as alien rumors swirl (nypost.com)
Quote:New video shows two giant, humanlike creatures strolling along the foothills of a small Brazilian island in what some believe is proof aliens are visiting Earth.
One of the 10-foot tall beings appears to take in the sights of Ilha do Mel, an island two miles off the coast of Southeast Brazil, as another stands closely behind, the footage shows.
As I pointed out somewhere else: People reported aliens at a mall in Miami., page 1 (abovetopsecret.com)
Quote:So, I woke up this morning and heard about a few other sightings of these shadowy things. I got asked about due to my knowledge of Shadow People, and well I'm pretty sure these are not Shadow People. I was told that, third hand, that a person that was running with the crowd ran into one of these things and saw it vanish only to reappear a short distance away. The shadowy thing had something in its hand.
Now I was there, and neither was the person that told me this, but they did say that a family member was the person that ran into it. So while it was only in speculation that I wrote this yesterday, it might be something to it:
Quote:Some people I hang out with were talking about this, and the History Professor of the group brought up that if these stories are true, then maybe these beings were Reapers.
From: britannica.com
"The Grim Reaper seems to have appeared in Europe during the 14th century. It was during this time that Europe was dealing with what was then the world’s worst pandemic, the Black Death, believed to be the result of the plague. It is estimated that about one-third of Europe’s entire population perished as a result of the pandemic, with some areas of the continent suffering far greater losses than others. The original outbreak of the plague occurred during 1347–51, and outbreaks then recurred several other times after that. So, clearly, death was something that the surviving Europeans had on their mind, and it is not surprising that they conjured an image to represent it."
They said that the speculation was that people who saw the Grim Reapers were actually just being affected by Ergot Poisoning, but he said that it was weird that many places around the world have the same picture for these harvesters of souls. He asked the question, "What if these reports of tall black phantasms are these same types of Grim Reapers being seen in modern times.
I know, wild thought, but maybe something we shouldn't dismiss =6"IF" these stories are true about these "Aliens" showing up in a populated city.
I also heard about a group of Shadow People that were very tall had been seen in Germany and France. Again, I don't think these are Shadow People.
Now just to be precautious, I do think that something is odd about this story of "Aliens" in Florida, and that the hype of what they could be is just adding to the story, but maybe we shouldn't pass this Grim Reaper angle off so quickly.
There have been many stories in the past about these harvesters of souls showing up before major events. Sometimes these events are of a religious nature sometimes that are of a massive paranormal nature, but always something big happens shortly after these things appear. Now there is a possibility that the stories being tossed about today could be misinformation designed to confuse people into thinking that "The End is Near", but there is a more likely possibility that something big is coming that will affect the way we think about the world we live in.
I believe that we should be aware of what's going on and not dismiss these types of events off handedly, but we should also not fear the appearance of these creatures either. As to the title though, I do not believe that these creatures are either Shadow People as in that they do not appear to conform to any known actions or activities, nor do I believe that these are aliens since UFO scam artists would already be jumping on the trend over reporting these creatures and making TV appearances telling us about who and where these are from.
It seems for now at least world governments are trying to muddy the waters as to what these creatures truly are or are trying to belittle the appearances of them in an attempt to dissuade the public from panicking over their sudden appearances.
I wonder what everyone's thoughts about the sudden appearances and news reports of these ten-foot-tall creatures are? I'm betting that these are some type of Soul Harvesters (Grim Reapers or something of that sort).

Back in our old digs I was Djz3ro but since then I've changed to DJ under this name and it's also the name I'm using for my YouTube Channel which I am currently researching and scouting locations for (Exploring & UFO Stuff maybe with a smidgeon of Music and Gaming but undecided on the latter two).
Looking forward to diving into less political subjects, especially UFO's, Consciousness, NDE, OBE, Lucid Dreaming, Meditation, Channelled and Remote Viewing (a lot of which, like Tom DeLonge, I couldn't take seriously but are now hard to ignore). I also see a fair few other topics to pique my interest.
Admittedly I could be a bit of a hit and run poster but not intentionally, I'm Neurodivergent, ADHD diagnosis but they're looking at others, it runs in my family, sometimes I forget the interesting topics I've started discussing. This year I am trying to be more organised and part of that includes keeping up with online discussions.
See you in the forums.

OK the fish had help.
Yesterdays storms were being live steamed due to the potential for severe damage. Ryan Hall
(weather geek) was following the storm cells off the coast of NC. The cells were running north maybe 80 miles off the coast.
A storm cell Ryan was focusing on was impressive. Looking at live radar he zoomed in then went quiet. In a deadpan countenance he announced the odd radar return was fish.
Sharknado week just started earlier than usual.Discovery Channel flubbed this one. It happened without camera's.
It happened twice, in one day,I finally saw a Sharknado!!!!
Then I began wondering where the fish would land? Went full 'tard on it.
OMG honey!! You gotta see this!! God just sent us sushi!!

The shark has been jumped!
In Miami at the Bayside Mall people swear they saw 2-3 10ft aliens. Video that's some of the worst I've ever seen is blowing up TikTok. YT channels are already doing "analysis" pandering to increase their YouTube revenue.
With all the news surrounding disclosure and aliens we should have seen this coming. People are going to convince themselves Aliens are everywhere. At least the mass hysteria is entertaining. The Miami police were called after reports gunfire, looting, large crowd of teens at the mall. They
responded in full force thinking they were going to a mass shooting event.

UAP over Iraq airbase video released supposedly went for air to the water, thoughts
Quote:New footage of a purported UAP, or unidentified aerial phenomena, shows something that resembles a jellyfish flying in the sky, its tentacles dangling in the air. Dr. Matthew Szydagis, a professor of physics at the University of Albany and an expert on UFO research, joins "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" to discuss the "strange" object, which he said resembles a droid from Star Wars. He said it's "unlikely" that it's just a camera smudge as some have speculated online.

We all know about Operation Paperclip, but the same thin happened in other nations under different names; I am here to introduce you to Operation Matchbox
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/261867395
Because Australia was viewed as some desolate 'shithole", the lowest common denominator of war criminals were sent to Australia.
Quote:The German scientists sent to Australia under a top secret Anglo-American project codenamed Operation Matchbox included SS and Nazi party members. The leading Nazi-hunting watchdog, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre in Jerusalem, yesterday demanded an investigation into the recruitments ordered by Britain and the US, and said Australia was a haven for "holocaust perpetrators and mass murderers".
https://www.theguardian.com/uk/1999/aug/17/iantraynor
Not all the war criminals who came here were German, other terroirs groups also had to flee Europe after the war.
Quote:At the end of World War II in 1945, members of the fascist Croatian ultranationalist and genocidal Ustaše regime from the collapsed Nazi puppet state of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) fled from the Balkan region to avoid imprisonment and execution at the hands of the Yugoslav Partisans. With the help of Western authorities, who now viewed the fiercely anti-communist stance of the Ustaše favourably in the emerging Cold War, thousands of members of the regime were allowed to migrate to other countries, including Australia.[sup][8][/sup][sup][page needed][/sup]
And they were fully supported by the Australian government because "communism", the PTB in Australia were happy to turn the other cheek just in the name of fighting commies. Then the government changed..
Quote:The Murphy raids on the offices of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) occurred on 16 March 1973. The purpose of the raids, instigated by Attorney-General Lionel Murphy, was to obtain terrorism-related information that the ASIO was accused of withholding.[sup][1][/sup]
The government had to raid its own domestic counter-terrorist apparatus,?
After the Murphy raids, the terrorists went back to their "home" cuntry and started a war...
Quote:The collapse of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s gave hope to many Croatian-Australians that a truly independent Croatian nation would be formed. It also gave the organisational ability of Ustaše ideologues in Australian society much increased impetus. Significant funding was raised by people such as Stjepan Kardum the leader of the Sydney Branch of the neo-Ustaše group called the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP). This money was funnelled into the formation of the HSP's ultra-nationalistic paramilitary units called the Croatian Defence Forces (Hrvatske obrambene snage or HOS) that fought in the Croatian War of Independence. These units operated separate from the control of the regular Armed Forces of Croatia and were involved in pillage, rape and mass killings of civilians at places like the Dretelj prison camp in southern Bosnia.[sup][8][/sup][sup][68][/sup]
I do have more to say on this, but its late and I'll drop some more on this tomorrow
