And like you suggest he 80.
All im going to say is that you have to ponder if he would be any different a person after the likes of a solid 8 hours kip.
Insomnia is a cruel mistress, and it can be debilitating.
Some night nurse in his Diet Coke might work wonders...
The scuttlebutt I'm reading is that he's on uppers. Just imagine the havoc that creates physically and mentally. Also Hegseth is passing out testosterone and who knows what else, so there you have it.

Looking at the state of the old fella.
You have to ponder the additional stress and damage the use of stimulants would place on his aging cardiovascular system.
Even the likes of continued use of say Ritalin would seem rather dangerous to administer to someone in Trump's condition...
Especially with the claims of taking exorbitant amounts of Aspirin every day.
I mean thats not just burning the candle at both ends, but melting it in the middle.
If indeed that is the case or reason for him being up all night.

I also was reading that if an elderly person has had no cardiac event, even a slight one, doctors are now saying DO NOT take daily aspirin as it can be harmful.
Trump is probably getting bad advice at every turn.

The current medical advice is for people with high cardiovascular risk but no history of stroke to take one low-dose aspirin per day. That described Trump until fairly recently. However, the advice is to take one high-dose aspirin per day if you’ve had a stroke. Trump now takes a high-dose aspirin every day at least since that episode last year when his face mysteriously started sagging on the right side. He also started using his left hand to brace himself while going up and down stairs. Having a stroke also interferes with normal sleep patterns. Some doctors who deal with stroke say that these indications are that Trump probably had a small infarction on the left side of his brain last year.

Let's not forget his daily intake of Diet Coke, which is 12 cans per day, which is 552 milligrams of caffeine, which is above the Mayo Clinic's safe daily intake of 400 milligrams per day.
" Physical Effects Excessive caffeine overstimulates the central nervous system and cardiovascular system, causing tachycardia (rapid heart rate), palpitations, and potentially dangerous cardiac arrhythmias or hypertension. Gastrointestinal issues are common, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach acidity. Other physical signs include muscle twitching, rigidity, tremors, flushed face, and diuresis (increased urination). In severe cases, complications can escalate to rhabdomyolysis (muscle breakdown), acute kidney injury, seizures, and even cardiac arrest.
Mental and Neurological Effects On the mind, caffeine overdose induces a state of caffeinism characterized by nervousness, irritability, restlessness, and anxiety. High doses can lead to insomnia, headaches, and confusion. In more severe intoxication, individuals may experience psychomotor agitation, rambling speech, delusions, hallucinations, disorientation, or psychosis. The overstimulation can also mimic or exacerbate panic attacks, particularly in those with preexisting anxiety disorders. " (AI snippet)
