In 2014 there was an incident at Fordow in Iran where uranium particles were detected and the AIEA thought that it may possibly indicate enrichment up to 60%. Subsequent examination and investigation showed that was probably not the case, and after investigation, the AIEA certified that Iran had actually been compliant with the JCPOA.

Then in 2025, there was another reading of uranium particles at Fordow that the AIEA thought might possibly indicate enrichment up to 60%.

Of course, Iran held that it was the same thing as before in 2014, and the AIEA continued to investigate, but in the AIEA report, they estimated that IF Iran had been enriching up to 60%, that they might possibly have up to 440kg of 60% enriched metallic uranium - somewhere. No store of uranium, or any evidence of one, has been found by the AIEA or any other monitoring group.

So, Iran might have 440kg of 60% enriched uranium somewhere, or, the AIEA might have had another false positive.

Investigations were underway in 2025 when Israel bombed Fordow twice on June 13 and June 25 2025, and Trump bombed Fordow with bunker busters, on June 22, 2025, saying that he had "obliterated" Iran's nuclear program.

So, as a result, AIEA investigators aren't actually able to access the heavily damaged site anymore, and, if they could, everything is probably spread all over the place, so their investigations would be inconclusive, anyway.

Then Trump and Israel bombed again this year in his war 'special military action' against a country that not been militarily aggressive against, nor that had capability to pose a threat to the USA.

So, all the other signatory countries and the UN, hadn't failed in holding to the terms of the JCPOA. Only the USA.

The Senate passed a resolution to limit Trump's War powers.

The Senate adopted a resolution on Tuesday directing the president to remove military forces from the conflict with Iran, a significant rebuke to Donald Trump and a strong message that the war lacks support in Congress.
Democrats have repeatedly forced votes to limit Trump’s war powers in both the House and the Senate — a campaign that has gradually picked up more GOP support in recent weeks, drawing the president’s ire.
GOP Sens. Rand Paul, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Bill Cassidy joined Democrats in voting for the resolution, while Democratic Sen. John Fetterman voted against it. The final tally was 50-48. The absences of GOP Sens. Mitch McConnell and Dave McCormick, who have previously voted against advancing war powers resolutions, contributed to the measure’s adoption.
The measure passed the House earlier this month. But because it is what’s known as a concurrent resolution, it does not require the president’s signature and, by definition, does not carry the force of law.
