The thread is dead because those that support the war are now having a "coming to Jesus moment" as they realize they have been played a fool and made to look the part.

I understand having strong support for people....actually not really it's pretty stupid to do so to the extent Trump supporters do. But every single person that has a few firing brain cells and is knowledgeable of history and not full of hubris could see what was going to happen. And our countrymen had to make the ultimate sacrifice for one mans self interest.

I highly doubt that is the case. You can make an sound argument for debate. I just don't think you have the ability to look at things objectively to be able to debate.
This mentality that is so prevalent in the most ardent Trump supporters very much mirrors that of a cult. Have you ever tried to have any kind of debate or a conversation that goes against the core beliefs of a cult member?
