Trump says he bombed Iran
(Yesterday, 05:16 PM)BeyondKnowledge Wrote: Update:

The strait is open.

Iran is giving up its nuclear program.

Documents to be signed Friday in Geneva.

You conveniently left out Iran is getting $12-24 billion dollars... for a less stringent version of the JCPOA.

You can now relax and go get stuck into the next world issue having handed the regional policeman role to the IDF. By doing what you've done the IDF are now the regional power, their technology is decades ahead of anything anyone else in the eastern Mediterranean, arab land, or Persian Gulf can field. Who would've believed it a few decades ago that the post holocaust jews in a few decades would become the regional power and able to destroy anything with minimal effective response, and that's with them keeping the gloves on  Lol

They would not be the regional power if not for the unfettered support of the US Government and MIC.

The Obama administration only gave them about $1.7 billion in a legal settlement.

Guess Trump's version of peace in our time is expensive...

I suppose we will find out more come Friday.

I don't know about that. You probably are correct up to maybe a decade ago, yet the IDF are procurring masses of armanents from the domestic scene, indeed they have plans to go almost totally domestic in the future. One thing they learnt over the past 2,000 years is you can't rely on other peoples for ones defence, it has to come from within.

The fact that the Israeli's have planted half of their people in the USA with the all the financial and business pressures on the US governments probably does secure them for now. I have no idea if this will continue, yet with modern warfare the age of massive manpower and countless tank forces is kind of over. It's all about technology and being a generation or two ahead of your rivals, for now they are in that position.

I've often wondered if the Israeli's can do a transplant into China or India, if say the Israeli experiment fails. Those nations are probably the future. Israel managed to secure itself into central Europe, then the USSR and from their influence and power. Now it's in the Eastern Meditterannean and the north of America. Who knows? Maybe they can move on and do it again? If survival is challenged once again, nothing will surprise me.

For now, Israel is the dominant player in the region. Nothing technology wise can match them, especially in the air. They have total control of the skies from Greece to Pakistan. I don't see that changing. If anything expect the gap to widen.

Not much detail on this "deal" but seems to be less favourable than the Obama deal but more costly?

Certainly seems that way from reports so far.

Could be that they know the deal is bad and are leaking exaggerated figures to make the actual agreement seem good in comparison. Israel are claiming the agreement doesn't apply to them and Iran are still vowing revenge for recent strikes in Lebanon so the next few days will be pivotal to if the agreement holds.

We could have just keep rolling that deal. Reports are we were close to a similar, and possibly better deal before Israel started their strikes last round.

If the deal is truly bad, I imagine the talking points will be how successful Trump was at opening the strait that was already open before the war.

We were told this would be two weeks tops and get regime change for Iran. Instead we got some people killed, including Americans for a deal that (right now based on reports) looks worse than the deal we ripped up.

He should have just focused on fixing the economy and he’d have been considered a good president.
Regime change?  No.

Strait that was open before the War now open?  Maybe.

Help on way to protesters?  No.

Enriched Uranium?  Still talking.

Massive cost to the US?  Yes.

A great deal?  No.  A shite one.

If the bombs don't get the Iranian's, the inflation rates will.................. 72% today  Lol

Considering that inflation has a far more significant impact on the people of said country that the government itself, I think it is safe to assume that you want the people of Iran to suffer.
Why?
