Iran Factions already lying and sabotaging.
This blows up by Monday
Quote:The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth. Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith. AMAZING! Also, their totally rebuffed Drone attack last night against Indian Ships leaving the Hormuz Strait is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. They better get their act together, and FAST! President DONALD J. TRUMP

As opposed to what? Staying there? We were there for over a decade, what do we have to show for it?
The country of Afghanistan didn’t do 9/11. Iraq didn’t do 9/11. Iran didn’t do 9/11.
And yet the foreign government in the commission report is our “ally” who has taken aid, hasn’t sent a single soldier to fight with ours, and is an Islamic dictatorship with Christian churches illegal in their country.
War hawks don’t care about American interests, they only care about foreign ones.

Having nukes is a matter of perception...
I think the Nuclear powers can by divided into 5 categories.
NPT - USA, UK, France
Reserves right to use it, but extremely unlikely under alliances.
NFU - China, India
Non First Use - Neither country will commit a first strike.
Wildcard - North Korea, Russia, Pakistan, Israel (unofficially).
Russia, though NPT, aggressively positions nukes to bluff without any intent to use them. Israel has a "last resort" policy. North Korea is on the choke chain of China.
Refined But Strictly Civilian - Japan.
Japan has 1.8 metric tons of 93% enriched material but has a constitution forbidding the use of nuclear weapons.
4 to 5 Weeks - Iran
It really depends if you believe their stockpiles and centrifuges are entombed by rubble or not.
Altogether there are 3 stand-out threats, and I would put the one purposely staying at 60% enrichment (to not be official) as still more likely than North Korea or Pakistan.
Ranking all 11 (as things stand now) from most to least.
1. Iran - crazy religious zealots
2. North Korea - Just crazy.
3. Pakistan - Dysfunctional but reigned in.
4. Russia - Uses as bluff at will.
5. Israel - Last resort - undeclared
USA - NPT - Trump has suggested their use.
7. India - NFU
China - NFU
9. UK - NPT
France - NPT
11. Japan - NPT + pacifist

Don and Pete well done on getting to this point while putting back the Iranian militray complex 20years, you done brilliantly. Yet the proposed deal has to include the missing Uranium being taken out of Iran. Anything less and the Israeli's won't 'tone it down' for long. You need to include the Uranium

I can see why many of our allies are pissed.
My government has acted like Middle Eastern allies are better than our older ones. Mind you the middle eastern ones don’t import as much, participate in our wars, are almost all dictatorships, etc.
I can’t believe I even saw a member in this thread just a few days ago say they’re better allies than Europeans. They didn’t care to respond with a single metric on how that could be true… but it just shows some people don’t use data to form opinions.

Screw the old allies, all Trump needed was a united public NATO FRONT, which would have been better than the very public NATO subjection to thier immigrant populations.
Denying the use of air bases....FTN NATO
Japan, South Korea, Israel, the Saudis, and the UAE are better peace and conflict partners in 2026
