The Iran nuclear treaty, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is a 2015 accord that limited Iran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. The treaty had nothing to do with giving Iran handouts of vast sums of money. It was a treaty to limit nukes. A treaty that Trump broke - He lied.

Remember, Trump said he was going to be the President who didn't start and commit to "forever wars". Now you are three months in to a war where the only way out is to appease Iran, or the war will go on well after Trump has died (yeah, he's really old and unwell) - He lied.

Remember, Trump was going to stop 'appeasement payouts' to other countries. Now, he is offering billions to Iran in reparations for the war, and to keep the straits open - He lied.

Trump didn't break the Treaty, he just withdrew The U.S. from it and re-instated some sanctions. 

Study why The U.S. withdrew and see the sparks that fired the pistons.   

Iran used the withdrawal as an excuse to increase Uranium enrichment.

All those drugged-up Iranians had to do was cooperate and whalla they'd be Trillionaires by now!!

And Trump isn't offering any reparations to Iran.  You're pressing the MSM BS button again Professor. Thank You for verifying your certifiability.

Appreciate the counterpoint, but they most assuredly have a rather large stockpile at 60%.  And they keep it there to avoid official nuclear status.

60% enriched uranium has numerous research, medical and industrial uses and isn't weapons grade.

Iran and Nukes and US sanctions over it go back decades.  First sanctions in 1992. UNSC in 2006. Got to 60% enrichment for the first time in 2021.

So, they have had 60% enriched Uranium for five years, and it still hasn't been enriched beyond that. Yet enrichment from 60% to 90% would only take weeks. Think about that!

Their ambitions are well known.

If Trump's lying about anything its that they are right now approaching breaking out, instead of on the brink for the last 5 years.

Honestly, the "almost there" threat REALLY DID materialize since he left and returned to office. Everyone was too Biden-minded in April 2021 to notice. Since then they've amassed over 440kg.

And where do you think they might store 440kg of enriched Uranium?

I imagine it would be best kept inside a nuclear reactor, as fuel rods, because HEU needs containment, it needs close monitoring for safety, it needs occasional handling because the radiation output needs to be controlled and it degrades most storage mediums, and it would be a waste to not do anything with it (like power generation, neutron irradiation of silicon for semiconductor production, nuclear medicine, isotopic production for use in metrology, and for research).
