There's a reason we use the Arabic number system 0 - 9 instead of doing using Roman numerals in Maths and Science - Algebra is named after Al Jabr as Iran and Iraq were the home of maths. Islam kept maths and sciene alive while Europe was in the Dark Ages. Pythagoras, Euclid et al learnt their Maths in Africa and the Middle East before bringing it back to Europe.

 People being a different skin colour or religion doesn't make them any more or less civilised - by all means the regime and militant Islam is a major issue but extremists come in all colours and creeds.

This being proved by relentless trouble within this region. You don't get the natives in South America or Mexico trying to de-stabalise the planet, they were given independence and they've proven capable of just government and a bonus to relations with the civilised world. Not so the Islamic ME, it's proven to be a major thorn in the side of the west and needs taking back under our control. These primitive societies have had their chance, now way have they proven to be capable of self government. Time to take them back and give them an extra dose of education until they are fit to run the show themselves and learn to play ball with TPTB.

On your historical stuff that was then and this is now. Indeed the Arab probably stole all this from India and China. They were like camel drivers bringing things across from the east, not just spices but ideas too. Your list of advancements is more passing ideas on from the east. Good ideas at the time, but borrowed from the east. Not actual inventions by the natives of the ME.

I dunno what you got i the States, but over here we have a 100% bone idle Caucasion native population that will rather spend their days sitting around boozing, doing drugs, eating pizzas, slobbish behaviour, expecting other tax payers to pay for their lifestyles while they collect more 'benefits' (gov't handouts) than the taxpayer can earn in a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 These slobs have no pride anymore. We have 800,000 care positions here that native people won't fill, so migrants move here to do an honest days work. All airports while we are at it. You can fight the hearts and minds bollocsk like we did in Iraq and Afghan or do a Soviet invasion of Germany or a Briatin in RSA Boer War and strangle the natives to death. There comes a time when you got to take the gloves off and do the job properly.

edit: here in the states Gen Z is the most sober generation in modern history. Alcohol companies are actually worried about less people drinking going forward.

It's not hate filled! It's honest realism. If our militaries don't go in and sort the ME out we are going to be attacked by Iranian nukes. They are developing nukes with at the same time a missile programme too. it's no dream, the reality is this planet is in imminent danger of a Shia fundamntalist state with nuclear weapons. You must see it! Trump does. So does Pete! So many liberal people stick their heads in the sand and imagine Iran is going to go away.
