Trump says he bombed Iran

I thought more here were completely opposed to a theocracy.
It must just be opposition to a Christian or Jewish theocracy.
I’m learning.

That sounds very Christian...

Im learning also.

Unfortunately, it is a real possibility that the threat of the blockade is meant only to spike oil prices so Trump can enrich himself.

I'm hearing many investors are leaning towards pulling there money out of some markets due to the instability, and blatant manipulation.

If investors lose confidence in the market, that opens up a whole new set of problems.

Could this be the real reason? Conspiracy anyone? Increase U.S. profits from natural gas? To make the U.S. the main supplier of LNG?

The only way that works is if the US is 100% confident that the other western nations will bitch out and not do anything to protect the Strait.
Oh wait…

You are fighting a religious fundamentalist hydra.

Something to strongly consider is that the majority of Iranian people want regime change.  Women want their freedoms back.  You know they’re policed by morality police right?  They can’t even show their hair in public without risking arrest.  Not away to live.
Apparently I’m in cult now, someone here told me so.

Market manipulation may well equate to illegal fraud.

And if it can be proved that it is coordinated intent by Trump to artificially control prices or supply...

Oh dear.

I agree.

But a lot of them think the same way about our respective nations.

We can't tell people how to live, any more than they can tell us how to do so.

And bombing them won't change anybody's minds but the bankers and politicians.

Additionally, there is real discontent in Iran.

Especially among many women, but "the majority want regime change" is not clearly evidenced.

Iranian society is diverse, and political opinions are hard to gauge under such conditions.

As President, Trump is above the law.

Just how is he going to enrich himself?   He doesn’t even have stock in oil.

So, tell us how without the reeee……

Its funny how all of the Proxy-Allies of Iran are otherwise preoccupied and unable to act on their behalf. Even Afghanistan cant' send fighters because Pakistan declared war upon them.  Tongue

This whole scenario is poetic.

Who controls the world energy markets? Who REALLY controls the world energy markets?

Oh we know
Its the US hegemony that’s in control and there is no doubt about that now, just joking, Israel controls the US and are bit players taking their scraps

Access to Kurdistan and Turkmenistan is a mission in itself, so I am lead to believe but once there, it’s getting in to there

Hence, the reason he wishes to remain, president, i should imagine.

Because, as we all know, he can and will be investigated and prosecuted after office.

Trump knows that himself...
