Registering for the draft has been in effect for a long time. I'm 61 and I had to register when I turned 18. So have both my sons. It's nothing new, but you tried to turn it into a gotcha moment.

The majority on here have only disagreed with the way this war was started and because Trump campaigned on "No new Wars".  I haven't seen anyone actually support Iran or support any of the terrorist , that Iran supports. I didn't see anyone cheer when the F15 was ,,, shot down, or boo when the pill ots were rescued.
I don't think anyone on here see Iran as threat thvile extremist ,

What about him sending anyone to do this is courageous? We're talking about the same guy who dodged the draft multiple times.

Also, what is the best case scenario here. We get a nuclear deal from Iran after losing 13 Americans and billions of dollars? We had a nuclear deal, one that many people complained about because it lifted sanctions on Iran.

Guess what we're negotiating with, lifting sanctions. Hell, they might even get tolls on the strait which would be an extra revenue stream of hundreds of billions over a few years.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see how this is so much better. Trump and his own people even said we were close to a deal with them twice before Israel attacked them while we were at the table.

If you were a dude you would have received your Selective Service registration card when you hit 18.
It’s been that way since 1980.

I got mine ON my 18th birthday.
