I just got "Janesplained" and thats how it's done, gentlemen. Literally wham bam thank you, ma'am! As I was saying Im a little familiar with our checkered past and storied history of the likes of General Custard, Colonel Oliver North, and the many others, but that still doesn't mean the US isn't the best force in the world currently. But none of that precludes them from losing or sustaining damaging hits, more than aware of Fallujah, Beirut, etc. I lost classmates in Iraq and Afghanistan, which was about when I became more active on ATS, and read Russ Kick.

I picked the battles/opponents that were similar type of battle's faced in a ground war with Iran, size of nation and type of warfare they faced. I could also add Afghanistan which is more recent and again no walked away with their heads held high. Grenada was a tiny little opponent in comparison to those I've spoken about. No one can disagree that you have some top notch technology and soldiers, maybe it's those in charge who don't seem to be able to make the right decisions when the U.S. goes it alone?
