The Dow dropped nearly 800 points and officially entered correction territory. S&P 500 and Nasdaq are bleeding too, with the Nasdaq now about 13% below its peak. Five consecutive losing weeks, something markets haven't seen since 2022. Oil-driven inflation fears, rising yields and geopolitical uncertainty are doing the heavy lifting here. Not a single catalyst. All of them at once." https://x.com/MCO_News/status/2037647157755339208?s=20 "The Everything Crash Normally when the stock market goes down, the bond market goes up. This provides stability to the average investor’s portfolio. However, due to the war in Iran, oil prices are rising, causing inflation to rise. As a result, the Fed can’t cut interest rates. They are now pricing in interest rate raises, which in turn, leads to lower bond prices and higher yields. Because investors are now anticipating higher bond yields in the future, this makes debt more expensive, increasing the cost of capital, which has a negative effect on future growth projections. On top of all this, precious metals are selling off because central banks are trading gold and silver for oil. This has created a situation where stocks, bonds, and precious metals are crashing while bond yields and inflation are increasing. Soon GDP forecasts will have to be slashed and corporate revenue and earnings projections will have to be reduced." https://x.com/PresentWitness_/status/203...12698?s=20

So much bullshit and subterfuge here and everywhere, and the useless back-and-forth arguing. Myself included, lets try and vet our shit, or at least subtitle as unverified.
I was about to zip in post this and go read the morning news Just because Iran Observer has been right on a few posts, thier stuff still needs to be vetted. I can't find this anywhere else. Look at this thread, how accurate is it really? We are all pretty consistent, but factual and accurate? Am I misremembering the massive 9/11 ATS threads? The BP Spill just seemed more technical and analytical than arguing and propaganda. Where are the technicians and analysts? Are they extinct? No corroborating reports appear in web searches or other X posts as of March 28, 2026, suggesting the claim lacks verification from mainstream or diverse sources. @IranObserver0 , a geopolitics account focused on Iran news, has posted similar unconfirmed breaking alerts before, with this one drawing a single reply dismissing it as fake. Tanks have been shown to be pretty useless in this era of drone conflict. Used properly with infantry support and drones. Tanks remain one of the most powerful tools on the battlefield. The problem is that combined arms is beyond the Russians. Which makes their tanks easy targets for ambushes with RPGs, Javlins, NLAWs, and drones. And they are sitting targets in an urban theatre of war. They still have their place, but they are costly and not exactly easily replaceable.

Iran said they sank 6 American LCUs, Baghdad Bob would be proud of their outlandish claim.

Tanks are still one of the most powerful 'systems' on the battlefield but facing just a handful of drones has proven they're pretty useless. The Ukrainians showed this in urban conflicts during Russia's invasion which lead to the stalemate. I imagine if America decided the Iran conflict needed boots on the ground tomorrow, the conflict would get extremely messy, Afghanistan showed that a less equipped military using guerrilla tactics with basic IEDs and very simple drones was almost a match for a far superior force. The drone and IED tech has moved on and I imagine would cause massive issues for a regular army these days in an urban setting. I was trying to show that the response you used even though in jest, can be interpreted very differently a few years on from when it was obviously created (Iraq) I imagine there were a few Russian tank crews who were stuck in this situation when Ukraine started using drones on mass. I also imagine this will be a tactic used by the Iranians if/when troops get involved. "Denial is a common tactic that substitutes deliberate ignorance for thoughtful planning."
