Interestingly enough, there is an in depth analysis of that very scenario by our friend History Legends. Iraqi militia merrily flew over one of our bases there and with zero effort, took out a UH-60 .
He did another informative one on the dangers of a ground invasion.
Coverage about the recent strikes at the Saudi Base

Ive always preferred WION to Western media.
Im wary AF of podcasters on all sides, the propaganda war is off the charts.
The thumbnail of horrified faces and clickbait titles is like a fart in an elevator. Besides, if it's something ive read about, it's just their analysts. Most of all they drag whatever thier point is till the last 2 minutes.
Not saying they don't have value, it's just not my preferred news media delivery system,
How do I convey it politely? Its presentation style usually doesn't resonate with me.
let me get breakfast and Ill watch I heard about the hit at PSA

NATO doctrines have completely failed them, a small number of Ukrainian drone operators humiliated them in war games exercises not too long ago.
How is Israel going to ground invade Iran when they are getting smacked by Hezbollah?
This stuff is crazy bro. And to think so many started off cheering like we were invincible and untouchable. Sure looks like a lot of touching going on, and for some reason things are not indestructible.

If you’re going to post pro IRGC propaganda, at least use a better source, like WAPO….
“Images show what experts say are U.S. land mines dispersed across a residential area in southern Iran.
Human rights groups have long called to ban land mines because of their propensity to harm or kill civilians, often years after conflicts have ended.”

Imagine facing a fleet of 10,000 drones?
I would think that the drones flying in unison close together would not be a good idea because of shrapnel strikes within the swarm from incoming strikes. Wouldn't it be more strategic to have a strategic placement of drones within a swarm that would avoid the inevitable damage? I would think drones that are singularly operated by individuals, strategically placed within a swarm would be a better plan of attack. I read that Iran plans to do multi-dimensional drone strikes; from the air, from the land, from the underwater, and on the water.

Newsflash: Major escalation in this war:
" Yemen's Houthi movement has officially joined the war against Iran, marking a major escalation as the group launched ballistic missiles at Israeli territory on Saturday, March 28, 2026. This action, described by the Houthis as their first military operation since the current conflict began, signals their entry into the Israeli-U.S. war against Iran after weeks of holding back.
The attack involved a barrage of ballistic missiles targeting sensitive military sites in southern Israel, which the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) identified and intercepted. The Houthis stated their intervention would continue until all "aggression" against Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestinian territories ceases, effectively aligning with the "Axis of Jihad" against U.S. and Israeli operations.
Key implications of this involvement include: - Regional Escalation: The conflict now spans multiple fronts, with Iran striking UAE and Bahrain, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and now Yemen attacking Israel directly.
- Shipping Risks: The Houthis have threatened to close the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb or the Strait of Hormuz, which could severely disrupt global oil flows and exacerbate the economic crisis, especially as Iran has already blockaded the Strait of Hormuz.
- U.S. Casualties: The conflict has already resulted in 13 U.S. troop deaths and over 300 wounded since the war started on February 28, with Iran-aligned groups now actively engaging U.S. and Israeli targets. " (LLM)

"The Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, known as the " Gate of Tears," is a 26-kilometer (16-mile) wide strategic chokepoint separating Yemen on the Arabian Peninsula from Djibouti and Eritrea in the Horn of Africa, connecting the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. "

Since this has become a doom porn thread, enjoy this tasty morsel…
A massive 12-ton shipment of Nestle's crunch KitKat bars was stolen in a chocolaty heist that risks causing a shortage in stores right before Easter.

I don't think listening to the White House and WAPO is going to give people a proper understanding of the war.
If you look back in this very thread to the summer, many of the MSM and official Admin sources got everything wrong.
We should absolutely take any non western source with a giant grain of salt... But let's not pretend that through out the whole conflict we've been getting the truthful picture from our own government.
We obliterated their nuclear program in June after all, and declared victory on the conflict over 10 times with an end in sight no closer now than two weeks ago.

Of course, why should anybody listen to the White House or western media when we can find out what’s really going on from all the anti American war college flunkies here posting IRGC propaganda doom porn.
Please continue to enlighten us to the gigantic US military strategic and tactical missteps and how Iran is stronger now than a few weeks ago.
I am entertained. LoL
