Totally old 'Fox News' propaganda and the Iranian foreign minister has said they've made no calls for a cease fire.

Trump is now threatening NATO if it doesn't join his and Israel's War.
What's it got to do with NATO?
He's a bully.

It seems to me he is getting desperate to take control of that Strait but he may also think that those countries should step up because they too don't have free passage, although all they have to do is to ask Iran for permission to pass.

Hasn't he been doing that all along about all sorts of stuff?
He was right about making members pay their fair share.
But the rest ... not so much.
So it's no surprise he'd try to drag NATO into this.
I don't think that'll work though.

Some European Countries have told him to get stuffed. The UK is saying it won't be dragged into a wider War but is discussing options to secure the Strait.
I don't think he is going to like Spain, even less than he already doesn't.

Well, I think Trump's chickens are really coming home to roost.
He's been nothing but an arrogant man-child with his threats and bad-mouthing of his closest European allies. Instead of asking for help in managing the Striates of Hormuz, he demands and threatens.
No wonder some of them are telling him to politely f*ck off!

Not only that, why can't the almighty US Navy get the job done as Germany's Defense Minister asks?
------------
" Boris Pistorius, Germany’s Defense Minister, stated:
"This is not our war. We did not start it."
He emphasized that Germany would not participate in any military operation in the Strait of Hormuz, questioning the effectiveness of European frigates when even the powerful U.S. Navy struggles to secure the region. Pistorius reiterated that Germany seeks a diplomatic solution and warned that sending additional warships would not help achieve peace. He also highlighted that any military involvement outside NATO would require both an international mandate and a decision by the Bundestag"

I don't think Trump was looking for war. If the Epstein shit didn't taint him and the Republicans enough, it makes it imperative that he win this quickly and expeditiously.
The intel suggested Iran might have been getting close, considering how Iran spasms and continues to shoot missiles and drones at its Gulf neighbors, which isn't exactly peaceful either. But it's dropped off drastically
2 weeks? 3 weeks? Who cares? It's going much better than expected.

The Strait can be reopened at any moment. Plenty of the regime are on any flight out, rumors of wealthy Iranian families bailing out to where they can, one video allegedly shows an entourage landing in Toronto with wives and trunks of booty? who knows?

If Iran wasn't a big threat in 2011 then I guess that means this isn't really a "47 year old war"?
Like Trump and his followers have been pushing?
Unless Iran called a time-out in 2011 then then started the war back up in 2026?
Because evidently, they weren't much of a threat during Trump's 1st term, either?
And you roasted me when I suggested the Strait could be closed for 3 weeks
You said you'd quit posting

Starmer is basically saying there seems to be no legal basis for Israel/US starting this war, so again we see that idea of this war being 'illegal'.
