Plenty that I know think that Trump is an arsehole. I guess they aren't genuine British people?

By the looks of it, the majority of people in the UK are against Trump's war in Iran.
Quote:Asked the same data a week later, the public had become 10 points more likely to oppose the conflict (59%), while support remained about steady at 25%. Opposition increased among Green, Lib Dem, Labour and Tory voters, but remained largely the same among Reform UK voters.

And i don't think it's much different in a lot of places in Europe.
Quote:Recent public opinion surveys across Europe showed on Friday that large segments of the public in several countries oppose the US and Israel’s strikes on Iran.
According to polls conducted in Spain, Italy, Germany and the UK, majorities in these countries reject military intervention and support cautious or neutral positions by their governments.

My definition of genuine British people will differ for you or any other person born on this island plus Ireland the British bit anyway. It's just a genuine British comment directed at Trump for hyim to follow.

You should maybe ask Trump if it goes both ways? 'Cause the last thing I remember is Trump shitting on the British military deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan, and trying to say it allies played no part???
Like I said previously, I didn't vote for Starmer but I'm so glad he told Trump to find some other mug to help with his little mission. He (Trump) really needs to learn some respect (like you say) for the country that has stood shoulder to shoulder with America when they've called on them.
If I was in charge I'd be raising the tax on all foreign owned golf clubs!!!
On topic....
Does anyone know where J.D. Vance is hiding these days?? He seems to have gone very quiet since the bombing started.

I mean, Starmer is a pri#ks, pri#k, that's the general consensus from one end of our island to the other.
But as far as i can determine, he's not the one trying to end the UK's special relationship with our American cousins.
Trump, on the other hand...

and if I was Trump I'd reel in the transfer of 5/6th gen technology to wimp nations who refuse to help out or can't even muster a couple of boats to secure their eastern Med bases. Next time we want the f-35 or Trident replacement I'd tell them to go buy outdated European junk off the Frogs or go full on Bluestreak and try to develop it yourselves

That's not a bad idea! Do you think we get the F35 or Trident for free?
You also need to look at how much of that tech is British built!! Then maybe you should also read up on the 6th gen fighter called Tempest we're building with Japan and other countries??
Starmer was a total idiot for not having ships ready to go in support our own bases abroad, but having blind faith in Trump is for fools. You also have to wonder how much info about the attack Trump passed on to his allies. After all it actually appears that Israel is the lead in this behind closed doors as they're the ones who want regime change.

Yesterday when answering questions, Trump said that JD Vance 'had a different philosophy' on Iran than he did. Sounds like Vance didn't want to go in. Probably not very involved with any of this. Considering how busy Marco Rubio is, he's more like the Vice President anyways.

Aren't you forgetting that Trump insulted our fallen, maimed and injured Service men and women who served alongside said brothers in Afghanistan?
Hard to forget that.
