Trump, on the other hand...
You are quite right about Starmer.
The fact that HMS Dragon is still in port is hugely embarrassing.

American stereotype of British people .... tall, awkwardly thin, bad teeth, drinks tea at 4pm, cold in bed (sexually), natural environment is cold fog and wet air, entitled air even if poor (stuffy), lives in stone buildings and walks on cobblestone streets, belongs to the 'Church of England', eats bland food (which is why they are so skinny), likes sheep, tells jokes that only other English people get, white skin and light brown hair, hates the French, drinks warm beer in tiny pubs with funny names, will fight for right when called upon.

Shameful.

Probably not very involved with any of this. Considering how busy Marco Rubio is, he's more like the Vice President anyways.
But it doesn't look good does it if they're at odds with the decision to attack Iran?
Maybe like Pence, the partnership is wearing off?
ETA...
Vance did make it clear during the presidential campaign that he thought America shouldn't be fighting in the middle east.

Maybe like Pence, the partnership is wearing off? Looks like they disagreed about going in.
But Vance has been public about supporting Trump and the position he's taken.
Vance knows who butters his bread.
He won't oppose Trump. He'll go along with it after voicing his opening stand.
It's not like Vance is doing anything anyways.
He's just the 'incase POTUS dies' placeholder.
Rubio is the one doing all the heavy lifting in the administration.

"The global #fertilizer market’s worst fears are unfolding, with chaos enveloping the Middle East and rippling through commodity and financial markets. The halt in traffic via Hormuz has caused a surge in #urea export prices from Egypt.
At present, CRU’s central assumption is that major shipping disruption will persist for at least three weeks. This will have significant ramifications for #fertilizer importing markets heading into the spring planting seaso
Around 47% of global #sulphur, 43% of #urea, 27% of #ammonia and 24% of #phosphate fertilizer global traded supply is at risk. The industry is in paralysis, and the full implications are not yet known"
