Trump Says Irans Succession Bench Wiped Out

That second strike on leaders, the one on the clerics voting in a new Ayatollah today, apparently wiped them all out.

Looks to be true to all who were actually there, Ive heard between 60-80 clerics, but no hard numbers.

I'd like to read that.
If you get any links, please post them.
I'm not finding anything anywhere except for what Trump said.
If what you say is true ... it's good news.

Nothing wrong with immigration, and America is indeed a melting pot. We need a good, measured, and constant flow, but it has to be small and slow; otherwise, it can have abrupt and negative consequences to the QOL for all your citizens.

MOSQUES
Number of mosques in England in 2017

Wonder how many John, Paul, and George's British grandfathers thought 20-30 years ago their grandsons would be named Mohammed or Muhammed.

Oh please.

Just stop this crap

It was mentioned on Fox News a couple of hours ago. They said the mullahs were counting the votes they just had when it was.... inturrepted.

I think the people should vote for their new leader, not the remains of the past government.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

? OOPS. ELECTION FOR REPLACEMENT FOR ALI KHAMENEI DISRUPTED

A building belonging to Iran’s Assembly of Experts in Qom has reportedly been struck.

The Assembly of Experts is the body responsible for selecting the Supreme Leader, including Khamenei’s successor.

According to reports, the strike occurred while members were gathered during a ballot session. Not all members were present.

Details are still emerging.

FWIW the building looks gutted, its gonna need some paint and a shitload of screen doors

Quote:The most recent IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) attack relevant to your query occurred on March 3, 2026, targeting the Assembly of Experts (also called the Council of Experts) building in Qom, Iran. This 88-member body consists of senior Shia clerics (experts in Islamic jurisprudence) constitutionally tasked with electing, supervising, and potentially dismissing Iran's Supreme Leader—making it a key clerical institution.
The strike hit as members reportedly gathered to deliberate or count votes on selecting a successor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (killed in earlier US-Israeli strikes on or around February 28/March 1, 2026).
Casualty figures for clerics/experts in this specific attack remain unclear and conflicting as of the latest reports (March 3, 2026, evening):
  • Many sources (including Iranian state-affiliated media like Tasnim, Telegram channels like Zed TV, and some Israeli/Iranian reports) describe the building as "flattened" or heavily damaged, with claims that members were killed or wounded during the session.
  • Unverified or sensational claims on social media (e.g., some X posts) allege all 88 members were eliminated, but these appear exaggerated or unconfirmed.
  • Official Israeli statements (via IDF spokespeople like Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin, reported in outlets like Fox News, Times of Israel, and Axios) confirm the strike targeted the site to disrupt succession but provide no battle damage assessment yet, and one Israeli official dismissed inflated figures (e.g., claims of 88 deaths).
  • Several reports (e.g., NY Post, Jerusalem Post, Morocco World News) explicitly note no confirmed injuries or deaths from this strike as of initial reporting, or state it's unclear how many (if any) of the 88 clerics were present/in the building at the time.
  • Iranian sources sometimes claim the building was empty or minimize casualties.
Broader context on regime figures (not limited to this one strike):
  • Earlier strikes (late February/early March 2026) killed high-profile clerics and leaders, including Khamenei himself, plus others like his family members, defense minister, IRGC commanders, etc.
  • Israeli estimates put total IRGC/security forces deaths at 1,000–1,500+ across the campaign, with White House claims of ~49 top leaders eliminated in the opening phase—but these include military/intelligence more than pure clerics.
No definitive, verified count of clerics/experts killed specifically in the March 3 Assembly of Experts strike exists yet—reports range from zero confirmed to potentially many (dozens or more if the meeting was fully attended), but most credible outlets treat casualty claims as unconfirmed or pending assessment amid ongoing fog of war.
The situation is fast-moving; casualty updates could emerge soon from Iranian state media, IDF briefings, or independent verification.

FOX TV News is reporting that the people who got blowed up were government 'counters' who were counting ballots and that the actual clerics being voted on were not mentioned.

Your information says that the 'counters' were clerics ... but not necessarily those in the running to be Ayatollah.

FOG OF WAR.

They were nutbag extremist muslim clerics I'm good with it.

Holy shit. Wow. This is HANDS DOWN the best take I’ve heard. If there is one video you listen to today it’s this one. Every single word of this and it’s a huge “f*ck you” to
@antonioguterres
for propping up the barbaric terrorist Islamic Regime in Iran. Must be shared everywhere in my opinion. Unfortunately I have no idea who this young British woman is to credit her, if you know who it is feel free to tag below.

https://x.com/koshercockney/status/20289...08004?s=20Here's a courageous BRITISH woman, she thankfully, like a few other Brits here get it... somethings are more important than our personal feelings about a President.

A President who just gave millions of Iranian women a chance for a decent and less oppressed life in thier home country than ....

Now those millions will have sons and daughters who will be taught about the American President who hopefully opened the door to a less oppressive, fanatical Iran.

Well .. looks like the strike today on the clerics picking a new "Supreme Leader' didn't slow them down at all.   And it looks like Iran has not learned it's lesson about putting extremists in power.

Ayatolla Khameneis Son Mojtaba Named Supreme Leader of Iran

Quote:Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has reportedly been appointed Iran's new Supreme Leader.    Mojtaba, 56, Ali Khamenei's second oldest son, has strong links to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and was chosen by Iran's Assembly of Experts 'under pressure from the Revolutionary Guards', according to Iranian opposition outlet Iran International.  Mojtaba is not a high-ranking cleric, has never held office and does not have an official role in the regime.

And his father is said to have indicated opposition to his candidacy because it would resemble the hereditary rule enacted by the US-backed Shah monarchy before it was overthrown in the Iranian Revolution in 1979.  Father-to-son succession is also viewed negatively in the Shiite Muslim clerical establishment in Iran.
