Well, as it was Trump who caused this issue, I could say why did he cause it in the first place or why isn't he opening them up now instead of moaning at Europe to help him??

I can't speak for the French, but that's why the British government opened it's bases for American (do keep up!!)

also....

From last week...

Quote:British military experts sent to US to plan reopening of Strait of Hormuz

British military officers have been sent to the US to help plan the reopening of the blockaded Strait of Hormuz as oil prices continue to soar.

It is understood that a small team of UK military planners have been sent to US central command at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, Florida, which is responsible for American military operations in the Middle East.
The officers are there to help put together options for how to open up shipping through the route, amid fears that it now contains mines.
But defence sources stressed the situation in the Strait of Hormuz was so dangerous that not many nations would be willing to put warships “in the middle of that threat right now”.
US president Donald Trump has suggested he could wash his hands of the problem once his military attacks had “finished off” Iran, leaving it to countries reliant on oil and gas exports through the waterway to secure it.

You mean Iran can hit Europe?
I was told Iran wasn’t a threat to anybody outside the Middle East.
Interesting development.

Where are your warships in the Strait?

They aren't, but you cry about ours not being there?

Same ones Trump did not want...

Who said that?  Why put words in others mouths that were never said?

That's dishonest.

If you purposefully shit your own pants when others have repeatedly told you not to for 50 years then don't expect said others to clean up the mess for you; especially when desecrating the memory of thousands of dead soldiers and lying about defensive treaties in the process.

The US and Israel only have themselves to blame for ignoring all intel and geo-politics to launch strikes against all advice of the allies they're trying to scapegoat for their own clusterfuck.

So no big deal Hormuz is closed right now?
Or it is a big deal?

I’m getting mixed signals.

Probably because you are not talking to the "top people."

I believe your POTUS and his band of merry warmongers have a similar dilemma...
