But part of the baked in justification we have for preempting Iran is that we're morally better than them. It's a statement I agree with, but still have concerns for how we conduct ourselves on our end.

If there has been a war going on with Iran for the past 47 years. 
How come Trump got elected on the back of claiming he would keep you out of wars?

He probably assumed things would be status quo like the rest of the leadership
through the years.   They let it go as long as it didn't go nuclear.  
But Iran coming close to a nuclear weapon, while at the same time acting in bad
faith in negotiations, ended the status quo.   Things change.

I'm all for pushing the Epstein thing so it doesn't get a pass.
And I"m right there with you on Trump, and a lot of others, being up 
to their eyeballs in the whole Epstein thing.
But Epstein has nothing to do with Iran, which is what this thread is about.

That's NOT what I said.   I said that people are coming down on Trump for saying he might go after their electric supply, calling it a war crime .. but those same people refuse to state that what Iran is doing targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, and that is something they've been doing for 47 years as well as doing in this phase of war, those same people refuse to state that Iran engages in 'war crimes'.   

They can't bring themselves to say it.

Iran has and does engage in war crimes.  Got that?

Targeting civilian infrastructure is a War crime.

We are supposed to be better than that.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Iran ignores international law, but so do you and Trump.

Causing ordinary Iranians who wanted change is not 'help is on it's way".

It disappears tens of thousands of anti-government protesters into prisons to
be tortured and hung.   It has a mass rape policy of women in prisons for daring
to let their hair show under their hijab.   Only state sanctioned TV is allowed.
