Which country is he going to "free"
Afghanistan? LOL, they are better equipped now than they were in the 80s and the USSR couldn't take them then.
Iraq? unlikely
Pakistan? is even less likely
Turkey? No way
Azerbaijan? would seemingly be the only country potentially ripe for Putin's "freeing" process
Call up a map of the countries south of Russia, start eastward and south starting at Kazakhstan and work your way south and back northward of Iran.
Uzbekistan?
Turkmenistan?
Azerbijan?
Georgia?
Quote:Kazakhstan’s statehood is allegedly a “gift” from Russia since it never had a state before. Medvedev went further and stated that it was the Russians who settled (i.e colonized) Kazakhstan before the Kazakhs did. Moreover, Kazakhstan’s recent resettlement programs amount to a form of genocide of the Russians. Therefore “there will be no order until the Russians get there.” Others maintain that since Moscow bailed out the Tokayev government in early 2022 by sending Russian forces there, Kazakhstan’s subsequent objections and opposition to Russia’s war in Ukraine represent a betrayal of its obligations towards Russia and “disloyalty.” Meanwhile Patrushev’s office produces threats based on alleged Western efforts to incite Kazakhstan to conduct anti-Russian ethnic policies and threaten the Russian population there.

Does Russia have a historical toehold in every one of those countries?

Like, War crimes.
Well, thank goodness nobody was killed, however one adult and one child are still in hospital, in stable condition, as is reported. War crimes indeed.

Which you just did?
So it is okay for quintessent one to insert a random drone strike done by Russia, apropos of nothing, but not okay for me to insert a random drone strike done by Ukraine, merely in response?
That is one sided!
I shudder....
And here we are , rehashing, and all pertinent points will be forgotten about, as usual.
Good job! wow.

Let me spell it country simple, since folks seem to have trouble with reading.
Thus far, we have only heard of USA and Russia talking, and agreeing to even attempt a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, we have not heard from Ukraine, and meanwhile , energy infrastructure keeps getting hit.
Understand?

No, Ukraine agreed to an unconditional ceasefire.

It looks to me that Ukraine's aim is to target infrastructure and of course there will be casualties of these types of attacks, whereas Russia is specifically targeting civilians in their homes, there is a big difference.

I am seeing reports that Zelensky now agrees to a 'limited' ceasefire...who wants peace again?

Not Russia.
Even as a condition to a Black Sea ceasefire (and where is what's left of their Black Sea fleet right now?) Putin wants banking sanctions etc lifted.
