Neither Zelenskyy nor Putin want peace.
Zelenskyy was strong armed into agreeing to the ceasefire.
Putin can't be strong armed like that.
So he'll make a couple of unreasonable demands and when they aren't met he'll continue with the invasion.
Trump has nothing to threaten Putin with, like he has with Zelenskyy.
But I guess we'll see ...

It's not our responsibility to provide hundreds of billions of dollars in free defense weapons to Ukraine.

It's THEIR responsibility to protect themselves.  

You want Canada to provide those hundreds of billions of dollars in free defense weapons?  You want to send troops to Ukraine since Ukraine is running out?   No?  Then by your illogic you and your country are responsible for the territorial gain for Russia because you refused to pay the hundreds of billions and you refused to send your own troops to keep the Russians out of Ukraine.

Well I read the new batch of troops have been trained in how to handle the drone tech so I assume some will survive and may even bring the new tech back home with them. They are there for more than just being cannon fodder.
