Here's a concept - what if DOGE itself is inept and inefficient?

What if DOGE were to sack essential workers one day, and the next day the same administration is scrambling to rehire and fill those roles, and at a fairly massive cost to the public, because workers who are betrayed like that aren't likely to go back to the job for the same pay?

I mean, there are people at SpaceX, Twitter/X and Tesla that Musk 'cut' who needed to be rehired, and who are also still getting the severance packages from the original unfair dismissal, while also being paid more than they previously would have earned, to lure them back. Such efficient! So prudent! So DOGE!
