Yes, Ukraine is corrupt. But they are at least trying to do something about it.

"You really are something else".

Sorry, I'm not going to descend to your personal insults and crap.

I am proud that you admitted it.
That's all I was showing with source after source.
Good job.
Now how much they are trying is a matter of conjecture.
Interesting article

The Ukrainian UPA tortured their victims with unimaginable bestiality. Even the Germans were shocked at their level of sadism. Victims were scalped. They had their noses, lips and ears cut off. They had their eyes gouged out and hands cut off and they had their heads squashed in clamps. Woman had their breasts cut off and pregnant woman were stabbed in the belly. Men had their genitals sliced off with sickles.
Prof. Grzegorz Motyka, an expert on Polish-Ukrainian issues, had stated that “although the anti-Polish action was an ethnic cleansing, it also meets the definition of genocide”.
The Polish Institute of National Remembrance estimates that 100,000 Poles were killed by the Ukrainian nationalists and an additional tens of thousands in other areas.

Even President Zelenskyy, who is Jewish and would have been undoubtedly murdered along with his family by the likes of Bandera and his UPA members, said "There are indisputable heroes. Stepan Bandera is a hero for a certain part of Ukrainians, and this is a normal and cool thing. He was one of those who defended the freedom of Ukraine.” Ukraine former ambassador to Germany Andrij Melnyk laid flowers at Bandera's grave, after praising him as a “hero”, and went further to deny his crimes and genocides and attacked anyone who criticized Bandera.

The biggest irony is that Bandera would have hated and despised modern day Ukraine. His worst nightmare would have been to see a democratic country which has a Jewish president and many national and ethnic minorities. Despite that, a lot of modern day Ukrainians still praise him, ignoring the fact that if Bandera was allowed to implement his ideology, Ukraine would have become a Nazi, totalitarian version of the state it is today.
if true this could be great news...

Meanwhile in Russia, Putin dons his military fatigues and talks about liberating Kursk.

Of course, he is, he is already negotiating virtually telegraphing you had better decide or Im going to just continue to take whatever territory I can.

Do I like it, of course not.

But it's an effective tactic and all's fair in love and war

I would rather have Russia plant flowers in the barrels and skedaddle back to Moscow, but thats not likely to happen

Here's an interesting interview with a psychiatrist who studied Putin over a very long period of time.

Putin always believed and stated that "Ukraine is not a real country".

Putin always believed and stated that "Ukraine is not a real country".

Listening to the video now, he has some good insights.

The bottom line somebody has to negotiate with him, Russia isn't going to overthrow him, and Ukraine is rightfully emotionally raw from the last 3 years. So we have this back and forth all the while Russia will try and increase it's positions in Ukraine

Ive always found it's important to read all of the countries involved, media, and news reports on a subject even government-controlled Tass and Pravda

Hell I thought they would be flabbergasted and non-commital there might be something to work with here.

[Image: https://cdn-media.tass.ru/width/1020_b92...440669.jpg]© Sofya Sandurskaya/TASSMOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Vladimir Putin supports the idea of a ceasefire in the Ukraine conflict but sees a need for thorough discussion; the Russian army’s progress in the Kursk Region alters the frontline situation; and Armenia, Azerbaijan reach an agreement on a draft peace accord. These stories have topped Friday’s newspaper headlines across Russia.

Media: Putin supports ceasefire proposal but stresses need for detailed discussionsRussia agrees with proposals to end military operations but believes that the process should lead to a lasting peace, President Vladimir Putin said. When discussing the nuances that required attention, he highlighted the situation in the Kursk Region, where the Russian Armed Forces are steadily advancing, the continued weapons supplies to Kiev and Ukraine’s mobilization campaign, as well as the need for mechanisms to monitor the ceasefire, Vedomosti writes.

IN BRIEF: Russia for truce, but 'nuances' remain — highlights of Putin's remarks to mediaThe Trump administration may show flexibility when discussing the Ukraine conflict but it is unlikely to meet all of Russia’s conditions as it seeks to demonstrate strength, Alexey Naumov, author of the VneshPol Telegram channel, said. He believes that Moscow’s direct refusal to accept this initiative would be another red line for Trump, which he may interpret as a personal insult. "However, I doubt that Moscow is considering such an option," Naumov stressed. Still, in his words, "the US realizes that the strategic advantage is on Russia’s side and a continued conflict will harm Washington."
