Trump is in talks with Russia to end the war
If Brits don't effusively express their thanks enough will Trump and Vance throw a hissy fit and shout at us?

Lol
I now know why I am called a grown up. Every time I get up I groan.

Excellent advice...the honey garlic onions and oregano have become my go-to for throat and lung issues, try and take a spoonful every day

I procrastinate and rarely go to a doctor they are so expensive and usually just give you an antibiotic.

and yeah once an infection takes hold it's a bitch and a half to get rid of.

Lol

LOL don't get me wrong while I don't approve of the methods, it did get thier asses moving... poor Zelenskyy his being told to stand up to Trump by Rice, Nuland, and others and destroy Trump's photo OP and it backfired. He still thinks the US needs to define its role, LOL

I can see Trump offering the bare minimum if that. Right or wrong

Like the senior fellow at Bookings said suck it up put on a suit for the photo op, shut up, eat your lunch, and get your check.

Hell Ive had to do that a few times in my life under less dire situations

LOL when a war foreign President loses RINO Lindsay Graham it's obvious he screwed up.

Lindsey Graham?

"What happened in the Oval Office has never happened in American history," he added. "No American president has behaved that way in public. Lindsey Graham knows this and yet has decided that he's going to continue his sycophancy."

Indeed.

He is spineless.

Oregano is antibacterial as well as other members of the mint family. I do add it to my 'immune' 'vitamin' and green tea, along with a pinch of thyme, an Italian herbal mix, honey, dehydrated lemon, and cinnamon. But I have a preexisting condition and I am getting older by the minute, so I may need to go the antibiotic route.

Graham obviously does not carry much weight with the American people, they are protesting often and zestfully.

Because that's mostly how I read it. Only I add in a KGB payroll for conservative American media influence. To really drive in all those DARVO devices that still get used to turn Zelenskyy into a dictator.

I agree with Zelenskyy, Trump and his most vocal cult of personality largely live in a Russian misinformation universe.

He (and his media-o-support) are not gonna DARVO that one on me. Zelenskyy will never be the aggressor. Never be deserving of the treatment he's getting and "Newscum" like rhetorical bully tactics. I dont care what the posturing ultimately is. There will never be a nuance that persuades me to reconsider.

Biden aided the country getting unfairly invaded for anti-NATO BS. I miss when it was Biden sternly trying to warn Putin about Article V.

My mind is closed to the pushed mental gymnastics required to spin that premise all to hell, against NATO (for whatever agenda promoted tax wasting excuse they try), and for Putin.

I'm truly sorry I was supporting people's tax dollars going to stopping Russia, but like Israel or even Taiwan, I felt those aid packages were strategic against our true adversaries. China, Russia, and militant Islam. It used to be our noble privilege to help prevent dictatorships like Russia from invading others like Ukraine without real provocation.

There were way blurrier lines in 2014. It was Ukraine fighting Russia backed Ukrainian separatists. This time was easier to jump in. Crimea isn't exactly Kyiv That wasn't anywhere near the case in 2022.

I really don't want to live in his (Putin's) illusory world on this.

You can call it hyperbole, me losing touch, but I feel (at the core of what drives my actions) it's bowing down to a malevolent entity/energy/will that seeks to use me for my gullibility and give me a hammer. He will tell me where the nails are and when to swing. I'm supposed to hit the Zelenskyy nail now.

I don't like this change in the house of (butter)flies. I miss Dopey Joe trying to look threatening.

To paraphrase the Nickleback of Europe, I need to rip off these wings of change... for my love and my soul...

Im not LBJ Im not trying to win hearts and minds here

Im mostly post my thoughts and what I see elsewhere, to foster a discussion

Im comfortable with other people's opinions generally and appreciate your thoughts and opinions here as genuine, heartfelt, and well-reasoned

Even in the 2000s thought it was cool as hell to be able to hear and converse with people in other countries and even different regions, instantaneously.

Im tired of the Russia Russia Russia "fear-mongering" that began in WWII, like Patton suggested let's continue to Moscow and end this communist dance now, or be prepared to deal with thier azzes for the next 150 years.

FWIW there's another conspiracy theory, Patton was killed and it was no accident.

I can easily understand the speculation that McCain Graham Nuland and others installed thier puppet Zelenskyy, while Putin is still a communist KGB azzhole both can and likely do exist in the same world and timeline

In other words, this has been going on for a long time and will probably continue after we croak.

I just hate the feeling of being manipulated if a position is just and correct it doesn't need to be sold so damn hard.

In the end that is what irks me as a career salesman I loathe the being sold, the manipulation, the promises, the intricately detailed reasons. Probably why generally I don't like Trump but that doesn't mean those same characteristics aren't useful in the world theater.

Seriously, he deftly negotiated the left's minefield since the day he was elected. Maybe letting him have a go at peace talks isn't a bad idea, except if he succeeds it's another blackeye for already battered and black-eyed Joe and the DNC and progressive left that pushed and installed him as the best the DNC had to offer. You do see the potential for correlation here?

The harder it's pushed the less I believe, yes in a vacuum Putin's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the SMO in 2022 were severe provocations worthy of international scorn, however, the world doesn't exist in a vacuum there are significant evidence factions of our government were stirring the pot, and profiting handsomely for thier "nationalistic patriotism" if one looks for it.

It wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last.

Fuck yeah, Charlie Sikes. There are still "Pre 2016" Republicans left!

Worth quoting more at length.

Quote:During an appearance on MSNBC's "The Weekend," conservative commentator Charlie Sykes called out the South Carolina Republican who is now bashing Zelensky after previously comparing him to Winston Churchill.

In a recent interview, Graham said of the Oval Office meeting, "When a European leader speaks, no bad guy listens. When Trump speaks, everybody is on edge. I was never more proud of President Trump than I was yesterday."

You know, I've given a lot of thought over the years to people like Lindsey Graham and, by the way, John McCain must be so horrified. to see what his friend is doing right now from wherever he is watching this."

But, you know, you think about people like Lindsey Graham, who I'm sure have been telling themselves over the years that, you know 'I need to suck up to Donald Trump because I need to be in the room. I need to be the adult that stops bad things from happening.' And yet over the last week, what has happened? We have abandoned our allies, we voted with Russia in the United Nations. We humiliated, not just simply berated President Zelensky, but humiliated him in a way that world leaders do not do."

Ah, grand old integrity.
