Yes, if they have back up.
Like US and European air support.
But it's not up to me.
Bored with "hilarious" memes, by the way.
This is serious.
Serious now, as opposed to the last 3 years?
Let's try leaving Uncle Sam out of your regional war altogether.
Unless you get your teats in a wringer (again) why does the US have to participate at all?
Excellent Video serious explanation

OK.
Let's forget the US as being the Leader of the Free World and let the grown ups get on with it.
The sad reality is that Trump and Musk (and their shadowy handlers) are going to take a chainsaw to your federal infrastructure and military and you will end up in an authoritarian dictatorship.

back on topic...
Will Trump take the deal or tell Zelenskyy to go whistle?
and by the way LOL you only want the US to be the "leader of the free world" if they do what you want them to do.

=#ffffffUkrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that his nation is prepared to enter into a minerals agreement with the United States, signaling a possible breakthrough in talks as of March 2, 2025. This comes after a challenging White House meeting on February 28, 2025, with U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, where a fiery disagreement prevented the deal’s signing. The proposed pact would allow the U.S. to tap into Ukraine’s abundant reserves of rare earth minerals—like graphite, titanium, and lithium—essential for producing electric vehicle batteries and defense equipment. Zelensky has made it clear that the deal must go beyond economics, demanding security commitments to safeguard Ukraine during its ongoing conflict with Russia. The arrangement reportedly includes a “Reconstruction Investment Fund” co-managed by both nations, with Ukraine pledging 50% of future state-owned resource profits, though earlier U.S. requests for $500 billion in mineral assets have been abandoned. While expressing appreciation for U.S. assistance over the past three years of war, Zelensky insists that a ceasefire alone, without firm security backing, won’t meet Ukraine’s needs. Friction emerged when Trump suggested the deal was a way to repay past U.S. aid, a perspective Zelensky dismissed, stressing that it shouldn’t saddle future Ukrainian generations with obligations. Nonetheless, Zelensky’s willingness to proceed hints at a readiness to negotiate a balanced deal that could bolster U.S.-Ukraine relations while addressing both Ukraine’s mineral resources and its defense priorities.

"Let's try leaving Uncle Sam out of your regional war altogether."
Like World Wars 1 and 2?
That would have ended badly for you if you'd adopted Trump's attitude then.
Thank goodness he wasn't in charge then.

As he has consistently said.

This is pure irony.

It can be both ironic and true at the same time, there's absolutely nothing wrong with OMB wanting a deal that favors the US.
Especially with 100 billion committed already, especially after finding out other countries are getting 'cash or benefits back"

Problem is that he had three times before where he said this same thing, but then turns around and refuses.

Yep, I hope Trump tells him to go whistle, honestly but we will see.
I agree with FlyersFan I trust no one involved here, not Putin, not Zelenskyy and I have no idea what Trump will do.
The overwhelming consensus is no deal for Zelensky or Trump will renegotiate for more "guarantees" on mineral rights
