It can be both ironic and true at the same time, there's absolutely nothing wrong with OMB wanting a deal that favors the US.

I agree with FlyersFan I trust no one involved here, not Putin, not Zelenskyy and I have no idea what Trump will do.

The Russians haven't had teams of hackers and troll farms targeting the Ukraine for decades.
In this game, the Ukraine is a a piece that will be sacrificed to try and checkmate the opposition.
He wants to give the opposing King on the board nowhere to move except to surrender the game, and the game is between the US and allies on one side and Russia and allies on the other.
