I can’t say I understand what his intent was. 

He made an intentional effort not to cause serious harm. 

He just couldn’t hold the rage in anymore?

He is right about people continuing to be complicit. 

I do think it interesting he specifically excluded Patel. Was he protecting himself by explicitly making it known he wasn’t targeting head of the FBI?

His intent was to harm people he didn't agree with politically. He INTENTIONALLY crossed the country by train to avoid detection and INTENTIONALLY brought weapons.

Personally I'd engage in debate with you on this or other subjects if you posed such valid questions initially instead of selling yourself short with the 'everyone vaguely centrist/left wing is an evil communist (insert buzzword here)' trolling as you're clearly an intelligent guy and I'm interested/have learnt and changed my opnion a lot over the years when you have engaged in genuine debate in the past instead of cheap one liners as it's a waste of time writing a reasoned response.

Obviously you do you but IMHO I think you wiould do yourself a favour and be a major asset to the board by engaging in the thought provoking debate you're capable of instead of posting 'everyone on the left is an evil communist' for the billionth time.
