Majestic Endangered Lamb-Killing White Tailed Sea Eagles have Brits debating

back in the day the White-Tailed Sea Eagle lived in hills and crags near the water in parts of the British Isles.

as people occupied the land the Ernes were seen as a livestock-killing nuisance and were exterminated in many areas.

now the environmentalist crowd is re-introducing the birds.

and the birds are picking up right where they left off, snatching lambs.

Farmers:  'those beasts are killing my flocks!  that's how I make my living!'
Enviros:  'they're just scavenging dead lambs.  hush.  and we're fine with a few of you guys going broke anyway.'

my sympathy is with the farmers on this one.  those sea eagles look awesome but the farmers have to make a living.

Thats wild, but perhaps instead of killing the sea eagles, give them an easier food source to snatch, like shallow water fish farms.
In Alaska, eagles scavenge the docks and fishing boats.
