I dont want either side to hurt civilians. I think the blatant arrogance of the West and lack of statecraft in this day and age has been deplorable . Likewise the blatant stupidity of the Russian state in squandering any sympathy the most third party conservative could have had for them by their various actions. But I wouldn't pretend that I support the US federal government one iota, based on their behaviour. Just like I wouldn't pretend to be Pro Russia. One thing is for sure and that is both sides are almost out of warm bodies. The only one who wins on one side is the commercial West who can invade a wartorn Ukraine in the West and perform fake Hearts and Mind 'infrastructure building' with the twist of Monsanto GMO and crass mundane commercialism and control, and Russia on the Eastern side with heavy handed attempts at spiritual and ethnic unity in bids for oil fields and territory.
Lets not forget the money laundering and organ trafficking, which is to say nothing of USA commercial deals in their own Gazprom scandals.

that it ok for the US to infiltrate a sovereign nation, start a civil war, change a government that supports US interests (Pakistan of late)
My opinion is the democrats and republicans are so mixed up in Ukraine, that they have to win so the truth is never revealed
Why do you say the Orange revolution was formed by NGOs, think it was the US government or people with solid ties to the government
The US has no fear of rigging their own election ?, then act like they wouldn’t do it to another country
Anyway, not sure I believe anything that comes out of the West anymore
And still wanting confirmation NK troops are on the Ukraine frontline
Those images of captured don’t look Korean
I lived and worked in Korea and I am 10000% from the footage on frontline Telegram channels from Russian volunteers in Ukraine that the NK forces are there.
And yes, of course Ukraine has been the center of European corruption for decades.

As bad as compared to those fighting them, especially when the US are still buying Russian fuel
“The United States remains reliant on Russian nuclear fuel, with one-fifth of its supply still coming from Moscow, US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources, Geoffrey Pyatt, has admitted.”

At least the US are getting good money selling lpg to Europe now who are going broke financing the Ukraine war
Think everyone in Europe and the US have inflation issues
With the US debt as high
BRICS has already hurt the US
and that petro dollar?

As I have said all along, I expect that NK troops are in Russia/Ukraine, Putins ties with Lil Kim are not a secret
but those prisoners didn’t look classic NK peoples to me
Guess society is slipping when some of us see everything as propaganda
I blame ats.

Everyone please give this Russian man (Inside Russia) a listen. IMO, he makes a lot of sense out of this conflict.

"Surely you know by now that anything they say, that the opposite is true-;same goes for most governments.
I have the most issue with ' Psaki denied Washington was trying to meddle or engineer a particular outcome in Kiev.'
You think the Orange revolution so called was truly home grown and in no way fomented or formed by US NGOs?
Question 2: Do you think this current Ukraine Russia conflict is a proxy war , or is it 100% poor old Ukraine being invaded by big mad Vlad?"
I don't think it would have needed much, if any fomenting.
As for being a proxy war, the West didn't start it.
Depends on your definition of what is a "proxy war" is.
The West is of course giving aid to Ukraine.
I am fully aware that these things are nuanced and not black and white.
I now know why I am called a grown up. Every time I get up I groan.

I have new hope after watching my posted video above and listening to the Russian man that Putin may be in a desperate economic position to negotiate a peace deal. Whether Ukraine is willing to give up territory is another matter.

Russia Calling! Putin live. It looks to me like he is in scramble mode. Check out who is in the audience, suits, no working class it appears and, of course, soft ball questions to Putin. So Putin is talking about 'freeing' countries around Iran so he can extend his access routes. Let's not forget the Arctic, he says they are building more icebreakers (nuclear?).
Edit: Putin spinning yarn to foreign players.

Hey, Oldcarpy2, just seeing U.K. (Starmer) and Ukraine signed 100-year partnership. It seems to me that Ukraine no longer needs to be a part of N.A.T.O. Just saying.

In what maybe a reciprocal move Russia and Iran have signed a 20 year 'strategic partnership' treaty covering 'areas ranging from defence and technology to energy and trade'.
