That's an interesting idea. Probably most difficult for families with small children. Us elderly might fare okay, unless they are city dwellers. Most towns and cities (at least in the U.S.) are 3-5 days from running out of supplies in the stores. I don't think it could ever happen; think of the consequences of the majority of the population have mortgages, car/truck payments, business payments and dues. I don't think the working public has to 'grow balls'. I think it takes enormous stones to go to work day in and day out and come home exhausted for the priviledge of feeding your families. Those are the real heroes. The MIC, on the other hand, wouldn't crumble so easily, imo. I think they are dug in for the long haul, fully prepared for the big birds to fly and the horrific aftermath. No, I don't think that would hurt them nearly as much as us, the common middle-class workers.
