The criminals have more than enough access to guns now. They are not limited by any laws like the rest of us are. Some are more limited than others. Yet more gun violence occurs where guns are more limited.

I will concede that treating mental health issues is not something the US does very well.

But we don't deny and sacrifice individual liberties and rights because of that.
