diminish thier capabilities as much as they possible can
Well, in for the penny, in for the pound.
But it's just one step closer to a real-world war.
Has Iran not got treaties with China, North Korea, and Russia of a sort?
Not that Russia could lace their own boots right now.
And NK are clown shoes, hell of a lot of artillery all the same aimed at Seoul.
But why give China a reason to invade Taiwan, which could possibly be a response of sorts if they feel the US is otherwise engaged?
Just spitballing obviously.

It's all on the table ... I don't think we will see that yet, though it could be on the horizon.

I fecking hope not, I'm just getting ready to decorate the living room.
Just finished the bedrooms and hall.
And i dont think the roof would take very well to a thermonuclear device in the kiloton range being detonated at 1000ft above Glasgow. ;)

Well, the lucky ones would be those who went in the first strikes and are inside the thermal and severe damage zones.
Canny do anything but live our lifes, already done the 80s and end of the last cold war, scared shitless in school.
Kind of wanted better for my kids, all the same.
Nuclear war is a mug's game, always has been, always will be.
And that's the saving grace.

Yep.
I live 30 miles north of Detroit, MI and 2 miles from a large Air National Guard base.
In a hot war with Russia, i would be gone in a split second with maybe 15 minutes notice of incoming missiles.
That's not even time to shit your pants properly.
