#1
WASHINGTON, March 17 (Reuters) - The head of the National Counterterrorism Center resigned on Tuesday, becoming ‌the first and most senior member of U.S. President Donald Trump's administration to resign over the war in Iran, saying Tehran posed no imminent threat to the United States.

"I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful lobby," Joseph Kent wrote in a letter to Trump posted on X.

I have to ponder if he will be afforded the luxury of a response?

Aside, of course, to say "resignation accepted."

Marjorie T. Greene stated that there are many others 'high up' in the Trump administration that were and still are against this war as it is NOT American First it is Netanyahu and his Zionist regime first.

----------

"Vance has shared that the administration does not plan to enter a multi-year conflict with Tehran but has maintained the president’s red line on Iran’s possession of a nuclear weapon.
Greene said regardless of the war’s timeline, younger Americans are against the fighting and those within the administration have raised concerns about the issue.

“I’m not saying who I have spoken to or have not spoken to, I just– I know where they’re at on the issue and I leave it up to them to come public with it,” Greene said.

“They know that their base, they know that the large majority of Americans, especially younger Americans – that’s the future of America – are 1,000 percent against this,” Greene added."

Maybe more higher ups will resign because there is no honor in this war for the deaths of American troops fighting a war for another country, and to make the elite richer through the warmongering.

Did anyone check to see if Trump awarded any or all of his sons new drone contracts with that $55 Billion he expects to get from the taxpayers, that's on top of the $1 Billion per day the war costs?

Can't wait to see the pathways documented between this "war", I$rael and Epstein.   Yes, I firmly believe there are some.

Wow, someone actually showing some spine for a change. Unexpected but refreshing.

"Upcoming Testimony: Gabbard is expected to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee on March 18, 2026, during the Worldwide Threats hearing, where she will face questions on Iran, election security, and intelligence integrity"

"“It is apparent that a lot of people in the Trump administration disagree with this war, but they’re afraid to say it, and so they’re just silent,” Moulton told MS NOW. “Tulsi has shown that she’s willing to do Trump’s bidding and provide whatever quote, unquote intelligence supports his position,” he said. “But it’s hard to see much intelligence behind what they’re doing.”"

I'll be watching that Committee interview with her.

Quite an interesting take on the repercussions from Kent's resignation.

Especially considering Trump keeps talking about hanging traitors for not parroting his administrations talking points.
